From the get go , Mark has supplied us with informative brochures about hydronic. You feel as if the research has been done for you. Robert did the planning at our house and he was a thorough gentleman in his approach. No hard sell at all! Luke, the installer, was a complete professional in his approach. Daresay, good workers like this are hard to find.
They supplied us with a competitive quote and completed job on time. There is a follow up to have our special flatface panels installed at a later date and we look forward to this especially as it will be in the winter.
All communications were prompt and email was the order of the day.

We converted our home from an old ducted gas heating system to hydronic heating. We got quotes from 4 companies before settling on Rob and Mark from Hydronic Heating.
We never felt 'sold' anything. The system design leveraged all of their years of experience and met our needs and requests.
Their focus was on doing a great job and keeping us happy, even if things didn't go as planned. (e.g. there was one panel location with very limited clearance and access from under the house. They persevered however and got the pipes connected... on a weekend... and with the help of their father). I'm not sure if other companies would be as outcome focused and would go the extra mile to make things happen so quickly rather than waiting for the following week.

We had two floors of hydronic heating put in our newly bought home before we moved in. Timing was tight as we only had a three week window but Mark, Robert & Nick worked tirelessly over 5 days to get it done in time. This took a little longer as it was a tricky building to negotiate downstairs but they managed it with problem solving & great professionalism. They treated the house and us with respect and the end job is excellent. The system has worked without a hitch and Mark has been in touch with us throughout the project to make sure we were happy throughout the installation. They explained everything to us as they were going along, recommended sizes & places of panels with reasoning behind their placement. Some floorboards had to come up upstairs but they were relaid well & with no sign now the carpets are back down. Holes had to be made in the brickwork outside but it actually looks fine & the end job is great. They tidied up after themselves, patched major hole from the old ducted heating and took away rubbish, this was really important to us as we didn't want rubbish lying around in the yard of our new home. We can't recommend them enough.

Right from the outset we found Mark and Robert Keenan, the owners of Hydronic Heating Systems, to be professional and easy to deal with. Here's how the installation of our 11 hydronic heating panels went. (I'm sitting feeling very cosy as I type this!) The whole family are very excited at the prospect of having consistently warm rooms and dry towels. I think our ensuite toilet will be the cosiest seat in the house! The installation team, Nick and Luke, were unfailingly polite, hardworking and a pleasure to have in our home. They were always happy to answer our questions and we felt that they did not just install the equipment; they took ownership of our project and were very conscious of doing things properly. They took time to explain what they would be doing each day, and kept me in the loop when decisions were being made. They took care to make sure that the 11 panels were level and in the correct place. They left our home neat and tidy afterwards.
I was especially impressed when Luke noticed that our water pressure was too high. This came up during conversation when we were talking about plumbing work done previously in our home. I told him that although a local plumber had 'fixed' our water pressure with a reducer, our toilets had begun to play up recently. Luke took it upon himself to test the pressure at an outside tap, and noticed that it was way too high, indicating that the reducer had failed. Many thanks, Luke, for picking it up so that we could have the problem fixed before it caused any problems in our precious new boiler! I was most impressed by Nick and Luke's adaptability, resourcefulness, and their professional manner. I hope that Luke and Nick will be rewarded in some way for their professional approach to their work. Mark and Robert were very patient while waiting for us to make all the final decisions about panel sizes and so on. Thanks for making the whole process so painless. It was good to know that you were only an email or a phone call away to consult during the decision-making phase, when we had lots of questions about it all. We won't hesitate to recommend your firm to friends.

Thanks to Robert and Mark for installing a heating system that actually keeps you warm and toasty in Melbourne! I've had way too many cold winters here. The customer service was excellent with lots of useful info to help us decipher the world of hydronic heating. Installation of a full hydronic heating system in a 30 year old house to replace an ageing ducted system that had broken down. 7 radiators and a towel rail. The installers were efficient and friendly, didn't leave a mess and it all looks like a good job to me.

Haven't really had a chance to use it yet due to our record breaking hot spell but looking forward to the colder months now. Won't have to go out chopping firewood in the rain and dark!

Only downside of the hydronic radiators is you loose a bit of wall space where we used to have some book shelves and cabinets. Time for a house re-arrangement.
