Absolutely woeful. Been waiting 6+ weeks for a service re-location. They do not respond to email, or escalation requests. TPG haven't taken over yet, but they are running the (non) show.

This was once a good company, but no more. For the past year (writing in 2015): Constant mistakes in billing which have taken months and hours of phone calls to correct. Gotta watch the bills like a hawk! Poor customer service, especially from Capetown call centre, where a fair number of staff don't appear to really have proper training or knowledge. I have wasted many hours of time and had a lot of stress because of this. I do not recommend them at all.

I have used iinet for the last five years for my phone and internet service and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the service and the customer care given during that period.

I started out on a relatively small package, 50/50GB a month however on 3 separate occasions my download limit has been permanently boosted at no extra cost simply for being a good, loyal customer. I am now on 150/150GB a month at the same price I originally started at.

I hardly ever experience interruption in my service but on the odd occasions I have or had to call regarding another matter iinet staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I love their callback feature so you are not wasting laborious time on the phone listening to bad hold music whilst waiting to speak to a consultant.

I thoroughly recommend iinet to everyone, whilst they are only beginning to offer naked broadband at this time their service really is far and away better then their competition.

Very happy with the customer service - the fact I can get through to someone who speaks common-sense (unlike other experiences I've had with other telcos) speaks volumes. keep up the good work.

I have been with iiNet and have never have a single complaint. Their service is excellent. Whenever I ring up customer service for whatever reason, the issues is resolved straight away. If i need any hardware posted out, it is posted to me immediately.

I'm still a fan. I have both ISP and VoIP and must say, for the past 5 years the service has been extremely reliable. Love the fact that I can call technical support and within minutes I'm put through. Pricing could be a little bit more competitive (they slipped a little bit), but for quality and customer service, I can't falter.

Approximate cost: $45

You won't beat iinet. I've been with them for over 5 years now. In that time I've even moved house and had to transfer connection. Iinet handled that transfer beautifully and I currently pay $59.95 per month. That includes unlimited local calls, unlimited STD calls, phone line rental and the use of voip. I get 100GB download quota which is plenty. They have 24hr help desk and believe me when I tell you I've tested that by calling them at 3am in the morning. They were there and that should give anyone full confidence. Check em out, they are great!

They have a great staff base who are happy to help you with any dramas or problems that you may encounter. They have great little packages and worth the price as you get the service and range. Never had a problem with IINET and continue to use this great service provider.

I signed up with Iinet because a family member recommended them. It was easy to set up and there's always a call line available if you have any problems. The service people on the other end of the customer line are more than willing to help and to please. I found the cost to be one of the cheapest of have experienced with a decent phone coverage. I guess the only negative is if the internet is not working (during storms, blackouts etc) you cannot make a call at all. Sometimes for what seems no reason, I will pick up the phone to make a call and there will be no dial tone at all. This happens about once every few months and all I need to do is turn off the modem, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on again.

Approximate cost: $62 per month
