Such a great set out its fun and exciting with a nice little courtyard out the back. Great choice of teas and coffees. Different to the regular cafes. Sometimes gets a bit crowded inside.

Very funky Brunswick-Street-type shop in the Croydon main street! Looks intriguing from the outside & has bunches of little tables inside and a few out and some cute green old-style couches inside! The shop is decorated well - very arty! There is lots to choose from on the menu from hot and cold drinks and food, handmade chocolates, cakes and sweets.

Approximate cost: $15

My friend and I went in because of the advertising out the front of Organic Milkshakes. We went in and were very surprised with all the treasures inside.

Our food was nice, but the milkshakes and coffee were just amazing. We loved it so much we came back a few days later. We even bumped into the producers and staff from 'The Garden Guru's' - woo hoo, if its good enough for them, its good enough for everyone else!.

The gift shop is too expensive for Croydon, however the cafe' is exactly what the area needed.

I'll be back again!

A friend and I were looking for a place to go and have a coffee and this place was somewhere that she had been to before and really enjoyed it...so we went there. It was an interesting little cafe that I had walked past a couple of weeks earlier and thought it looked intriuing and very colourful and somewhat culturally influenced

We literally walked into Kofi Beans off the street one Saturday afternoon. Having gone to Croydon to use up an old book store voucher we thought it looked fun and interesting so went in for some lunch and a coffee. We found a cafe-come-tea/coffee/gift-shop that would be standard fare in Fitzroy, but was excitingly out of place in Main Street Croydon. It's exciting because this is EXACTLY what Croydon needs - a high quality, relaxed atmosphere, funky cafe retreat that works whether you are just grabbing a cuppa to take away, sitting down with kids for Sunday breakky or having a business lunch.

The food is great, the service is accurate and efficient and the system of ordering, paying and taking your table number to wherever you wish to sit (including the courtyard to the rear) works like a well-oiled machine.

The breakfast prices are higher than usual, even taking into account that the food is good quality and well prepared. There is a good choice of organic and fairtrade coffee, tea and chocolate to take with you and the assortment of moroccan homewares is fun to look over although I expect the majority of items are priced a bit steeply for the area.

It was so good we went back again the next day!

Approximate cost: $expect $15-20 for breakfa
