Recommend the burger and fries with a white wine. Really satisfying when you are craving a decent meal! Service is friendly and helpful here also :-)

Went here the last time I was in Melbourne with my family. It is in the perfect position, along the river and at night the fabulous Melbourne skyline. We certainly took our time having dinner as it was such a beautiful night. A huge menu to choose from and a bit expensive (we received a 15% discount voucher when buying tickets for the Skydeck). If it wasn't for the discount I don't think we would have eaten there. But I am glad we did. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in such a relaxing, friendly atmosphere.

We have only came to Ludlow for coffee and cakes. The interior was very inviting and the location was superb. It was a huge disappointment! Being in Melbourne - the coffee capital of AU - we got a watery brown substance which had nothing to do with the usually wonderful aromatic and creamy drink you can so easily find in Melbourne. To make things even worse, we were with some guests from overseas, so disappointment was coupled with embarrassment. If the food is good in Ludlow, then sure go there, but please avoid coffee until they change their barista.

I really enjoyed my dinner here. The service is very nice, attentive and respectful. The location is marvellous, right on the river with the fabulous Melbourne skyline right there. The waitress brought complimentary bread and balsamic/olive oil to my table, and I ordered marinated vegetables with house bread entree. A lot of oil, but very delicious and a good serving size. I ordered the Pan Roasted Barramundi with heritage carrots and mussel vinaigrette - this was totally delicious. The best piece of Barra I've ever had - in other establishments it has tended to fall to pieces, but not here - it was simply divine. I had a side of House Salad which was also very delicious. Just an totally enjoyable evening. Thank you. I will be back.

Ludlow has a great atmosphere for drinks and nibblies or a meal. We were there during a busy lunch time and the although the staff were busy they were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, well priced and ample. I will definitely be back again.

One of my favourite places to hang out on South Bank. Really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great place to catch up for a coffee or a few drinks. I found the food delicious. One of the first times i went here i had the pork belly salad but unfortunately for some reason they took this off the menu :( if they read this review: please bring it back!! it was DELICIOUS!!!

They also have a nice selection of cocktails and drinks. My mate ordered a bloody mary with a few alterations and they made it exactly to her liking with extra tabasco.

Would definitely come back again and again

Service was slow and staff were inattentive - it took quite a while to be seated and then to receive menus and have our orders taken. Once we had placed our orders it took approximately 30 minutes for our meals to arrive. Food quality was average and probably a little overpriced. After we had eaten we sat there waiting for our table to be cleared for nearly 20 minutes.

We hung out in the bar area afterwards and I must say that the bar service was a zillion times better and has a much nicer atmosphere. I would visit here again but maybe not for a meal.

The staff were really good and efficient. The place had a great atmosphere and great view. The food was alright as were the drinks.

Ludlow bar is cool, and a nice place for a quiet drink earlier in the night, they also have a dining room and the food looked great (although I didn't try it)
