I find Optus customer service pretty good..but I dont know if that is because I have had issues with them in the past. Just when siging up with Optus make sure you double check the plan and the inclusions with many different sales staff as we had many conflicting results. Other than that they are great to use and I can get good reception most places. Oh trying to decipher thier bills can be daunting.

yeah look i called optus the other day and i was not bloody happy. i rang up about me bill for me mobile and im a business customer ya see. and they cut me bloody phone off, now i usually pay all me bills on time and have done since 2005 but this time i admit i was 3 months late with me payment but when i told the girl on the phone she told me she couldnt restore me phone cos they needed the payment, now i said to her - look honey but i need me phone for business, you mob might not know how to run a company but i do. and i know how to look after me customers. now ive had telstra chasing me up to sign me now i wanna know what optus can do to keep me as a customer, i feel optus should come to the party a bit here for me. now telstra are offering me a wiz bang deal on the nokia n95 and optus told me that i had to pay out me contract to start a new one cos im only 3 months in, now i dont see why i should have to do this because i pay me bills on time except this one time.

Approximate cost: $19.95

We got the Optus Fusion plan when it first came out at $69 a month. This included free line rental and free phone calls and internet included.I find its great to swap between what Optus has to offer now and again to see what works for you at the time.I think its gone up now.

Approximate cost: $69

We have our mobile and home phones with Optus. The package deals are great, as are the capped plans. Overall good value for money, especially the capped mobile plans.

When my last phone broke down earlier this year (with 3 mobile) I took on a temporary Optus prepaid mobile and found their service and cost to be great - very cheap for a backup phone option

Approximate cost: $10

I had a mobile phone service with them, always had to wait for an hour to speak to cust service which was very substandard. Also, when given advice it wouldn't work. I'd stick with Telstra I think
