I have had a PayPal account for a long time but only started using it frequently in the last couple of months. I have started my own online business and receive all payments via PayPal. I do think their fees are a little high but for a service I can trust I don't mind paying a little more.

Paypal in my opinion has it's ups and downs as it's fee's are quite high when selling goods online. You need to take this into consideration when selling items where you don't want to loose money.

BUT fantastic as opposed to purchasing goods/gifts online as it's fast, easy & instant! Other sites use this service which is really handy to purchase products online. I like the safe factor as you don't have to use your credit or debit card to do a transaction as it might not be entirely safe.

I have been using paypal for years now and have only good things to say about them. I strongly recommend that if you are considering paypal that you should trial their business as they make internet shopping heaps easier and its much safer than sharing your bank details with strangers. The only thing bad I have to say is that I sell on ebay and we get hit with ebay fees and then fees from paypal which really cuts into my profits which aren't that much because you have to keep your prices down on ebay to stay competitive

The paypal program is great, it definitely opens a lot of shopping doors, whether buying or selling. Although, customer support is fairly useless, and the whole use of paypal can be a bit of a tangle. I also dislike the amount the take from you when you recieve funds (I recently had $9 taken from recieving $200), and this really adds up. With the millions of transactions daily, I'm sure taking even $1 from transactions would have them comfortable.

Although, despite the flaws in customer service, the usefulness is undeniable, and its an amazing resource for Internet shopping.

Great way to keep money for shopping online and using online services. The money is always processed instantly and you can link it with your ebay for buying and selling products securely and easily. It's easy to send money to and from linked bank accounts, but if it isn't a debit or credit card it can take up to 3-5 days for the money to transfer. link it to a credit/debit card and the money will transfer automatically

I wouldn't be able to live without paypal. enough said... jks.

Okay now paypal service should be something that everyone is familiar with nowadays. It's pretty much a must in 'safe on line' shopping experience.

Note of caution on their conversion ratio, they're usually a little nerfed compared to the major banks ratio. It helps you to have money x-fered in say another currency like US dollars if you feel that Aus dollar is going to go down in value in foreseeable future.

Some times very rarely, i've had refunds, where the amount I got back was considerably less than the amount I paid for due to the conversion ratio. It starts to make a difference at around 300 dollars and up.

so far, no problem with their service. I feel quite secure with paypal when i do online shopping. It makes online payment much easier. Just remember if there is a problem with receiving items, make an action within 45days from purchasing.

I use Pay pal when on ebay, but the other day I wanted to buy an easter egg for my Godson in England, I was delighted to be able to have the egg delievered and pay for it through Pay pal made me feel much safer about the process.

Very happy with Paypal - definitely prefer to use it for online shopping. Did have a large unauthorised transaction once but I alerted them and they were very quick to reverse it so I was no worse off.

I LOVE paypal - Makes shopping online so easy! I have never had a problem with them and if I have been dissatisfied with a purchase that offers a refund, they have always refunded my money! i 100% would recommend using this service!!
