This salon is completely inflexible with their booking policy regardless of the circumstance, with a low threshold to forfeit the $50 booking fee without exceptions. As a customer, flexibility with bookings and being able to change bookings at short notice is very important especially since we have such busy lives. Will not be returning to this salon, especially since there are some really good competitors out there who would be very happy to help with booking alterations. I’ve actually not seen such a strict booking policy in a hair salon. Very disappointed their service.

By far the worst experience I have ever encountered and even worse  customer service by head office- Mary. Stylist Mona had made my $1800 wig darker, and failed to tell me in the consultation that the colour would ruin the bleached knots.

I was then offered a "gentle deep cleanse" where Stylist Kiara, was NOT gentle enough and has caused a bald patch on the most visible part of the wig.

Mary has refused to provide a full refund on the careless service and has made every attempt to pass the blame and keep the money.

Never have I felt so incredibly disheartned and utterly disappointed with how my concerns were handelled.

If you suffer from Alopecia and rely on wigs for everyday wear, DO NOT visit Royals Hair at Castle Hill.

I am still waiting for this matter to be resolved. The resolution is a simple refund.

After a terrible haircut where the previous stylist completely disregarded what I wanted and did as she pleased, resulting in a terrible cut and a lot of tears, Elie and Royals castle hill took the time out of his busy Saturday to calm me down and reassure that everything is fixable - he fixed the choppiness that was my fringe and made me feel so much better about myself and how my hair turned out. Overall experience was very professional and reassuring and Elie helped calm my anxiety about my situation, everyone was so kind and attentive! Definitely Recommend this salon over any other! And a big thank you to the team!

Ayda from royals hair is the best ! I always leave feeling so great about my hair , she always does exactly what I’m after. Such a great vibe and awesome service.

Just a word of warning for anyone looking for a balayage. There are no pricing for it on their website but a ‘consultation required’. It also states that consultations are ‘complimentary’. Then when you make a booking they ask for a ‘50% deposit....which for my daughter was $167...even when a complimentary consultation was still needed?? When she arrived they informed her that her balayage would cost $500! She said she could not justify spending that amount of money on her hair and was told she would have to forfeit her deposit.

No she was not happy with your ‘complimentary consultation’ quote. She turned up for the appointment she booked and was not happy with her quote.
Instead of giving back her money they offered her half a balayage for just over $300. My daughter said she didn’t want half a job and would take her business elsewhere and they still refused her refund. So through tears of feeling humiliated in front of people and not wanting to waste her deposit she was given a treatment and trim for $167.
My daughters hair was not in bad condition to start with and as she works in television it gets regular care but this was a last minute decision after moving to the area, that she obviously now regrets. I needed to warn people that this business will take your deposit even without giving a service and to embarrass a grown woman to the degree of tears when she questioned it is beyond belief.
Shame on you....
