WestPac is quite good, I would recommend you to go with WestPac especially if you have mortgage, because you can get full offset account. But for anything else WestPac can be quite costly.

I needed assistance to some inquires and I always receive a quick answer with a smile and very good customer service, the team their will answer all inquires at any time 24 hr phone service banking, GREAT!

Horrible customer service as in "you knew the t & c's at the beginning so bad luck". I can't believe they used to be known as the friendly dragon, we can now just refer to them as the Dragon of the banks. Please all existing customers out there make the effort and change banks and all potential customers you have been warned. They do not know anything about customer service.

Their service and assistance every time I enter the bank has surpassed any other bank.
I went into the bank to deposit a cheque from work and requested it to be released as their was a letter from my employer. I requested if my daughter could do the same as she also worked for the same employer and uses st George as well. They were so nice about it.

I have been with St George for about 10 years now, last year i had a bad day with my funds the chq that i had in didn't clear in time & i had 4 withdrawals come out, expecting the chq to clear and due to this i had 4 bounced payments, that was back when the fees were $45 ea i went into the bank to explain and to my shock the manager reversed three of the fees so i only had the one $45 debit for a payment made without the funds being in the account, so i would gladly recommend St George to anybody who asked for advice on banks

I am westpac customer and after they merged with westpac, i used St.George ATM and withdrawl of money was unsuccessful, so i visited St.George to talk or ask what should I do for next step. But when i talked one of representative in that branch, she immidiately said, 'go to westpac, it is not our fault.'
I was wondering why they couldn't survived in that industry...........................

I was a St George customer for most of my life, but left after being told by a customer service representative that my postcode belonged to another state and I must not know which state I live in. Very embarrassing for them considering I live in the geographical centre of the city.

good iam happy with the services they are providing, its a great bank to bank with!!! iam happy with this bank will never think to switching to someother bank at any costs!!!
