Ever since Australia Post took them over there has been no Delivery service at all.
They will no longer deliver to your door and expect you to drive to their depot or a Post Office for self collection which is NOT DELIVERY!.
Also VERY EXPENSIVE!
They Do Not answer e-mails!
Online tracking is inaccurate/deceptive!

consignment note number S4Q04785.
Startrack made no attempt to deliver the consignment as per our instructions. This was verified by CCTV coverage. The area and only pathway to the delivery point is covered by five CCTV cameras on our property and four from our neighbours'.

A Startrack card was left at the side of the house instructing me to collect the consignment at a post office which would entail me walking approximately 6 kilometres or via public transport, travelling by which would take nearly two hours each way.

I telephoned Startrack and spoke with "[redacted name]" who was not helpful and basically told me that it was my problem not hers. I demanded to speak with her supervisor. After a long wait on hold, the call was picked up by "[redacted name]" who basically told me the same story and despite the consignment not being delivered as per our instructions, Startrack had no "procedures" in place to remedy the situation. His entire tone was demeaning. I requested to speak with his supervisor as he, [redacted name], apparently did not have the authority to resolve the non-delivery. He informed me that he didn't have one. I queried that he is the managing director of Startrack, to which he did not respond.

It would be apparent that Startrack have committed fraud by their non-delivery of the consignment and have uttered a false document purporting attempted delivery.

Expected delivery around 16th may. Still nothing 18th may. Checked site says delivered 16th May. Someone home all day 16th. No knock,no card,no message. Called StarTrack told the package has been sent back to WA! Could no explain why, who ordered the return or offer any explanation, told to call sender. Sender is now returning the package using different courier. StarTrack is NOT a courier service it is a joke.

Booked Startrack through Interparcel service. After two days they still had not come to collect the consignment (I am in Sydney metro) and apparently they could not contact the driver at all to determine a pickup time. I gave up and booked another courier. Absolutely pathetic and will NEVER go to Startrack again.

The time it took to arrive from the departure point was fine, however, from there it all falls apart.

They deliver in the middle of day, which by itself is not a problem, but if you are not there to receive it, like most people who work normal hours, you have to arrange to pick it up. Here in Port Macquarie that is 'only' between the hours of 8-9am and 3-4pm with is pathetic and again, not much good for people who work normal hours.

You can arrange for it to be redelivered, but unless you go onto their website and book it in before 6.00pm, you have to wait two days before they will try again. Again, this is pathetic service.

Approximate cost: $150

Infuriating company to deal with. Horrible customer service a [redacted due to generalisations] A person states they are investigating to find out where the item is and then states that it has been delivered when it clearly hasn't. Not sure if the employees were going to steal the items or too lazy to deliver so they marked it as delivered and who knows what they were going to do with the items? USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Ordered a parcel 2 days ago express posted, online tracking said it was to be delivered today.
I started working around 10 AM, at 1:30PM i get a message online saying that couldn't deliver it because my premise was closed. Well it obviously wasn't.
It went back to the deposit instead of my local post office,
Sounds to me like they didn't even come to my area or just straight up lied about the ''with a courier'' to fit their quota of express postage.

Might aswell go standard as they said i won't get the parcel until the day after tomorrow..
Bloody terrible.

Why does it take OZ Post disguised as StarTrack SIX days to deliver in Australia an overseas parcel from China that took three days via Singapore to Botany AND OZ POST STARTRACK HAS STILL NOT DELIVERED AS THE PACKAGE IS IN THEIR HANDS. THIS IS NOT SERVICE.
I will be making an Official Complaint too UPS in China as they have made a big mistake of using this incompetent company for their total failure to perform. We use UPS as a global account and they deliver, and Star Track stinks NEVER AGAIN.
We will also post all the details on the Chia site to warn people not to us UPS for parcels to Australia as OZ Post is involved and that means business loss or failure for China goods and
Whys does it take Star Track more than SIX days to deliver a parcel from Botany to Mannering Park in NSW only 100 kilometres at worst??????? And UPS only three days from China via Singapore to Australia. And Qantas is their partner, another looser airline.

We have yet to be updated why it took Start Track to deliver a parcel from China (Shenzhen, China 2016/07/13 3:11Departure Scan) to that took 3 days via Singapore to Botany (Botany, Australia 2016/07/15 21:47 Departure Scan) and then took 10 days to deliver from Botany 100 kilometres to Mannering Park north of Sydney, and was NOT delivered door to door but left at the local Post Office. They did NOT call the recipient on their MOBILE to arrange a time, which was on the delivery instructions, and is mandated. After Start Track found the parcel, Star Track hid behind the Australia Post to get out of the firing line for their totally inept service. They left some ridiculous note at the delivery address saying we called at the delivery address, and no one was their which was a pathetic excuse. It is now the 3rd of August and Star Track have still FAILED as promised IN THEIR EMAILS to us saying they had stated the so called URGENCY to Senior Management. Star Track corporate website is a joke, and have failed to get back to UPS in China or the recipient of the parcel. Anyone thinking of using this failed entity, should seek medical attention.

Item showed out for delivery from 9am. I waited all day for it but it never came. Checked the box and no card. Called them at 6pm and their customer service closes at 6! What kind of courier service keeps bankers hours? This one. Do not use them.

Rubbish.
Claiming no one was home for delivery when It was 8.38am and I had not left the house. Another two days to re-deliver. This is for their so called 'PREMIUM' service. Rubbish service from a rubbish company.

Saw the delivery guy turn up, stop his van for a second and take off again. He didn't even get out. Now my parcel is at the post office and I'm being told no one was home. Funny as there was three of us watching and waiting for him to get out. Piss poor service.

Here is the email I sent to StarTrack, so you understand what these couriers are like:

"I have been home all morning, and no one rang on the doorbell or knocked, though I have been inside the house all day, along with a friend, who also never heard any knock or the doorbell being rang.

"I am quite upset that, instead of signing for the delivery at my door, I now have to track off to the post office to get my parcel. This is not what I paid for.

"There is no slip in my postbox out the front, either. If I hadn't have looked online, I would never have known that the parcel was at the post office, and still been awaiting delivery!

"I am quite angry, as this has taken 47m out of my workday. This is not acceptable."

They claimed that they would investigate the issue within 10 business days, but weeks later I had to contact them about it, twice, before I got a response. Allegedly, they discussed these issues the courier in question so "human error" wouldn't happen again.

Also, despite it clearly being their fault, they also refuse to pay for a refund of the delivery cost, let alone my wasted time.

Not acceptable. The company needs to pull up its socks, and start treating the customer with respect - this should be followed by all staff, starting with the couriers up. The "policy" of not refunding non-delivery needs to be urgently reviewed.

I had been waiting for a parcel to be delivered by this company today. On one of my visits to the letterbox I discovered a card in my letter box saying that a delivery had been attempted and that I needed to go and collect the parcel from a post office that is in the opposite direction of my usual travel. I rang the company and was told that something might be able to be done if he had not already been to the post office. If the parcel had reached the post office then nothing could be done. She was "Sorry". Her "Sorry" did not take the amount of time that I would need to spend collecting the parcel. I contacted the company and they are going to arrange to have the item redelivered. While I was resolving the matter with the sender we discovered that no provision is made to give special delivery instructions. If this facility had been available then maybe the situation would not have occurred. I spoke to my neighbor about courier companies and he told that he did not have a good opinion of the company. My impression of your company today is that it is a can't do company that I will avoid in the future.

WOW! What a disappointment. Had a dlivery from this company and I received it, parcel damaged, contents broken and no apology from the courier. I refused to sign off the goods and received a mouthful from the courier, who then drove off like a moron.

Not only did the courier company tracking email come through my junk folder, the site itself looked dodgy and made me think it was a fake. The site showed me that an attempted delivery was made at 12.02 which must be wrong. No letter was left about attempted delivery. Nor the package. Rung up after 20 minutes of being on hold that the drivers didn't read the label that it could be left by the door. Number 1 i never said it could be left by the door, 2 even if i did why didn't they seeing it was on the package, would have rather had it left by the door risking someone steal it then the rest of my story. They f_around on the phone saying to leave a note at the door, which i must say was written in haste. Apparently my precious parcel could be.
1. Lost
2. At the airport
3. My local courier post office
4. Stolen by someone
5. In their van
6. 'we'll look for it'
Oh and no card was left to tell me anything, the lady ended up ringing back to say the drivers put it back in their van unsure, and yet again no card was left to tell me this.
After waiting a few days with no apology a torn up delivery package arrived on the middle of my driveway. Not near the door or letter box at all. Thank you for ruining my week.

Just don't ever ever ever go Star Track Express. From the website to the phone service to the delivery to the email being sent to my junk folder. This is a shock horror company.

They have a tendancy to bugger up your post. In which causes more drama that what the item is worth. The team memebers however, were trying to be as helful as possible and recitfied the problem as soon as they possibly could. Theyre not too bad, better ones out their though!

Hopeless in every sense of the word. Not the drivers they are good its the administration. Its taken me over 17mths to get a permanent authority to leave, the paperwork was submitted so many times my us and fedex, Dont ever call them you will be on hold over an hour to just get the run around. If you are a normal customer and you are not home then they take back to the depo in Dandenong and you have to drive all the way there to pick it up.

Pathetic service! What a waste of time!!
I ordered something online and should have been delivered in 24 hours. Initially I was impressed with the service when I received confirmation email & link to track delivery process online. All was going well until 12 hours later when my parcel arrived at their Melbourne depot and it was decided my address was "invalid". It took numerous calls to both this courier company and the the online business I ordered from to get it through that my address was valid and had been for 35 years!
Apparently the truck driver had decided my address was invalid and didn't even take it to his truck, let alone use a GPS to locate me. Then I had to wait the lengthy process of having my parcel get returned to supplier before another would be issued for delivery. This also took several phone calls to follow up and get sorted. It should be noted that the supplier has had many other complaints about Star Track and are now looking for a new transport service.

Finally my product arrived 2 weeks later! But I was not happy as it should have been within 2 days!!

Thanks for the heads-up and detail provided. If the reviews on here are anything to go by, then this is clearly one business worth avoiding. Thanks again for detailing your experience. Regards, Reeces

do not use them. i had a delivery from dick smith coming and we received the sms that it was on board with driver at 8am. we opened the door for delivery then at 11am we received a sms saying we where not at home. we where there waiting for it. they didn't even leave a card in the letter box. that is because they didn't even try to deliver it. they just went straight to the post office and left it there.

We were a long time customer of Australian Air Express and when they merged with startrack we thought it would help with some of our regional deliveries, boy were we wrong. the service just plummeted just getting worse every month as they laid of staff and reverted to processes that were completely useless. We use overnight services that went from being overnight or maybe 2 days in bad areas to now we have overnight services that can take over a month to get to the customer if they are lucky enough for it to actually arrive at all.

Not to mention if you have an account with them expect to have thousands of dollars in overcharges on your bill. we send 2 size packages that are 1.5kg and 2kg yet every week we get at least one package getting scanned into their system at 12kg or something stupid like that and get charged $400 or so for having an oversized package, some weeks we can get 5 or more of these overcharges. and good luck trying to get the overcharge credited back. they know their machines are faulty yet we are just starting to get credit notes for disputes from 5 months ago.

To top things off they have started "loosing"/stealing a bucket load of our freight saying its been left at the premiss (without an authority to leave) or they are signing it themselves as being delivered when the name they give doesnt match anyone in the neighbourhood let alone the actual recipient.

Their change in procedures also mean a lot of our regional freight doesn't even get attempted to be delivered, the driver thinks its too far out of his way to deliver so just marks it in the system as attempted delivery, charge us for an unattended delivery (despite the customer sitting around waiting) and leaves it in the depot which in some cases is more than 4 hours drive away from the actual recipient, so they have an full days return drive just to pickup freight that startrack promised would be delivered.

Approximate cost: $15 per item plus $300 worth of overcharging

Used this company to transport a snake from out of state to NSW, its hard finding a bussiness that will do this. Not much paper work to fill out, staff are friendly and snake was safe/secure.

Prices of service are cheap..i found them very affordable.

Recommend!

Where do I begin ...... I am an understanding person when it comes to christmas and the stress delivery systems are under ...however.... when I am given a consignment number to track my parcel, am told that it is sitting at the delivery depot , call to ask if i can personally pick it up as I have done numerous times before am told i'll be called back .... patiently wait 3 and a half hours , call back .... wait 12 minutes after transfer.....no answer..... call again 7 minutes no answer ...... call again 5 minute wait and explain to telephone personel to please listen before transferring me again and funnily enough once listening to my predicament I am told there is no way I have any chance of getting my parcels tonight.... WHY not tell a customer in the first phone call !!!! how hard is it to stop wasting peoples time !!!!
What's worse is the company i work for only use this service which has gone downhill this xmas as opposed to last

On a good note the drivers are an absolute asset to the company maybe the company should get some tips......

I'm hearing some negative feedback on these guys, too bad your work only use these guys. Sometimes the more expensive alternatives are expensive for a reason.

I feel for your frustration, nothing I hate more than not getting parcel and being juggled around.

I have had a few parcels delivered through Star Track Express and have had some positive experiences and some negative. They are a lot more expensive than other couriers however they do tend to deliver on time and have overnight express options available for urgent deliveries. I have had a couple of items sent to me that have arrived in only a fair condition, although I think that this is due to poor packaging on the senders part.

I have only had one item delivered through Star Track, delivered from Sydney to regional NSW. I expected delivery within 3 - 5 days. After almost two weeks, it finally arrived, and the box appeared to have taken a beating. Wasn't too impressed with the service.

Worst service ever! Worst delivery service in the world. They won't be bother to even knock on your door and just throw the card in your mailbox, not to mention that they are suppose to call me before first attempt delivery (as my purchase is over $1000). Then, they won't even pick up your call even though you have been on hold for half an hour. After finally in touch with them through the company I made purchase on, they are basically FORCED me to stay at home at 8am to 5pm Mon to Fri while I'm having class every weekday. The only alternative they gave me is to pick it up at somewhere that is 20~30km away (while I don't even have an appropriate transport and I'm having class too!). Their service attitude on phone is horrible as well as what they trying to tell you is YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW WHAT THEY SAID instead of a proper discussion. Until now I still haven't receive my parcel that suppose to be here on Tuesday.

I was waiting for a package to be delivered for 2 weeks from a business. Star Track Express left a couple of cards for me and when i rang them they informed me i had to be home between 8am and 5.30pm to receive the package. As i work this is impossible, they told me they cannot get in touch with their drivers either (rubbish) so I could not even get an am or pm delivery time. I rang the the business who used Star Track Express and told them to cancel it and send it by normal post and 2 days later I was at the Post Office picking it up.
