this place is nothing fancy. it also isn't very cheap. however its a good place to go if you decide to go out for dinner at the last minute. you don't have to book. you eat straight away and everyone can choose something different for tea. there is quite nice chinese food here. the roasts & pasta a very average.
this place is good if you go there after school as it is quiet then. also the learn to skate classes for kids are good.
the downside to this place is that if you go there on the weekend its absolutely packed there are way too many people. its also expensive on a weekend.
i went there to try their beginner speed skate class recently and i was shocked by how rude everyone was. not one person said hello or told me what to do when it was clear i was new and had no idea what i was doing. it is clear that they don't want new members.
i went to the windsor for high tea today. i was served by gary who was wonderful. the coffee was delicous as was the champagne which i had quite a few. i was a little dissapointed with the food though. don't get me wrong there is tons of it!! soo many desserts to choose from and a chocolate fountain but there was nothing that i tried that i thought was great. it was just average. great experience though, lovely setting and great service.
we went to the kiosk at knox city last night. our mms wasnt' working on our phones due to bad virgin mobile customer service on the phone (unfortunately when you call virgin you only talk to people in india and they only read from a script don't actually listen to your problem) however the 2 people at the kiosk were great. it took them quite a while to fix both our phones but they were diligent. they made sure it was working properly testing the mms thoroughly. we asked advice about upgrading our phones and they gave us honest answers. not trying to upsell or rip us off.
this place is great. its a disco in an industrial area. drop the kids off and pick them up at the end. all you need to supply is party bags, a basket for presents and a cake. they do facepainting, games and let the kids have choice of music and karaoke. tea & coffee is at the front for parents if they want it. such a simple way to have a party $25 per child all the mess and noise is made there and no hassle.
the chocolate and churros are delicious. i have also had a white hot chocolate here and it was delicious. the location is a bit lacking as it is smack in the centre of a busy walkway.
this store is enormous and has ample parking. there is so many things in there facbric, kitchenware & bedroom decor. also a really awesome party section.
i used to be a member here. i got a very good deal $650 for 18 months. they have a great range of classes at all times of the day. Lee-Anne and karen are excellent group instructors. there are never any troubles with getting onto whatever machine you would want to use. the only problem i have is that anytime i have ever swam in the pool i have gotten a sore throat which is a shame because the pool & spa are very relaxing.
this is a very affordable restaurant. its down a dodgy little lane but its cozy and the food is good. you can also use shop a dockets there. the margarita sampler is very nice.
i have been to a clothing swap held here. entry was $2 and you could swap as many pieces of clothing as you like. it was a great way to get new stuff and to clear out my cupboard.
such a nice farm setting also.
