The food was superb. I understand they come out in small portions but you can ask for it over and over again so I don't see what the problem is with the people saying that the place was stingy. All I found out that the food was tasty and prompt with the service. Fair enough the speakers did not speak the best English but was enough to get by.

Their Altang (fish-roe soup) is really good and reasonably priced. Serving sizes for their set menu's are also generous. I always leave this place full to the max as I seem to re-order their side dishes once too many times! Highly recommended.

Charcoal BBQ meats is just delicious at Obaltan. Been coming here for the last year and the chilli pork belly, marinated beef ribs and prawns are my favorite. Try combination BBQ sets. Waiters are always nice and friendly. I have been to a couple other Korean BBQ restaurants in Lidcombe and Burwood and Obaltan is by far the best.

The food came in quite large portions and tasted a lot better than most things you can find for that price. We spent $10 each and that's including tip. The ambience is what you'd expect from a quick service restaurant. The place is clean but nothing fabulous otherwise

I used to go to Strathfield to have Korea food. Then I saw Dana so gave it a try. I have to say it was a terrible experience. I was going for an authetic Korea food, however, they gave me a menu for non-korean which I was told after I did my order. I ordered one Bibiban and a seafood BBQ. Normally there are side dishes before your main sources come. We got none. After I check with the waiter, he told me that was only for real Korea food order. I was very disappointed.

Good food, good service, and a great alternative to the chew and spew next door (which I still can't resist from time to time). The souvlaki is good (the hot and spicy is nearly hot enough for my tastes), the burger slammers are a bit odd, but quite edible as the less healthy choice, and I can't wait to try a platter with a few mates

ordered a beer and a champagne, both of which were warm. Ordering was a difficult process, the waiter was hard to understand and knew nothing about any of the dishes. We ordered a garlic bread and our mains. 1/2 an hour later a jug of water came out and we were still waiting on the bread of all things, let alone the food we had

Went with some friends last weekend, didn't know what to expect, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great! service was a little slow, but it was a friday night and busy and as Dimitri says "its the greek way (layback)" absolutely loved it, will go again.

y partner and I went to Nostos last night for dinner and it was great! I had tried on several occasions to get a booking (2-3 days out) but it's always been fully booked. The service was the best we've had in a long long time and the food was delicious. We opted for the banquet. Next time we go back we will definitely order the lamb as a main course. Highly recommend.

Great place for a quick lunch and great coffee. Even though its in the middle of a busy shopping mall it really has great service. Will return here next time I'm in maroubra junction.
