Nice brightly lit sushi train located near the hunter connection, on hunter street. We really enjoyed the sushi and found this place to be very authentic and reasonably priced. The food was really good and we had a nice time.
I've been here a few times now and highly recommend Sushi Studio. The value for money is outstanding and the food is fresh and delicious. The sushi and sashimi is especially good. Very good in fact. It's what you go there for. The sukiyaki and other dishes like grilled squid, unagi and tempura are also worth trying.
The staff were lovely and friendly.
Approximate cost: $20
For a Sushi Train sit down Japanese restaurant, Sushi Bar Taka holds appeal. I wouldn't go to length, debating the quality and freshness of the food. The reasonable pricing should reflect the expected quality, which is fairly okay. The service isn't so bad, though I agree there are very few assistants
The food is awesome!! The sushi is the best around, it is of high quality and is always fresh. Maybe a bit more expensive then other sushi places, but definitely worth it.the service average
Very good sushi bar, fresh ingredients, atmosphere is bit lacking due to quietness, been here at least five times but never seen the place full.
Service is above average.but alright with the price, here for the food
Great place but yes it's expensive. The cheapest dishes (vegetarian) at $4.20 with most of the other seafood ranging at the $6.80 mark...but the food was delicious & very very fresh. Great for lunch time but get there early or you'll have to wait. The service was polite and not intrusive
The food is fantastic! The special sushi is amazing, especially double crunch. Can't explain about the taste. I've never seen like tat roll. Price also reasonable and like the japanese beer. Can't remember the beer name. Anyway, love to be there.
The food is really quite good, the deluxe sushi platters are quite spectacular and very well presented. Most of the food looks equally good, and there wasn't a bad dish. The only negative was that their sukiyaki/steamboat for 2 requires 24 hours notice to prepare, so it's not conducive to casual ordering. If you might want this, make sure you order well in advance.
I love this local Japanese cafe, freshest salmon, delicious gyoza, scrumptious seaweed salad, great service, relaxed setting and reasonably priced. Its a bit small so booking is essential.
One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in terms of quality of food and freshness. The degustation menu was pretty good value at $75 if I remember correctly. Most of the dishes were very tasty, including a surprise lamb cutlets dish which we thought was odd for a Japanese restaurant.
