Questacon is simply Awesome. It is a great place to visit for young and old especially for children to explore the magical wonderments of science. There are a lot of hands on things to do & see. You can let your imagination run wild!
I went to this Hairdresser late last year when I was in a hurry to have my hair coloured. Cisca did an excellent job colouring my hair. The staff there greeted me with a smile and I relaxed with a hot cuppa & a magazine whilst waiting for my colour to be ready.
Would recommend this hairdresser to everyone! Well done!!
Recently I wondered into the Belgrave Op Shop and found a wide variety of clothing, toys, games and nick knacks. My son found a snow glow for $1 from Tooronga Zoo and thought it was magical!
My family and I stopped at this Bakery whilst we were in Belgrave recently.
The food there smelt and tasted delicious and we loved the yummy vanilla slices and fresh bread there.
Just before Christmas my youngest son and I decided to go for a drive out to Wandin to get some Fresh Cherries. We found this warehouse with a shop attached to it and tried some srumptous cherries.
The cherries were firm and sweet so we bought a couple of boxes. Delicious! The price varied depending on the size.
My son had the opportunity to participate in Laser Strike which he describes as an awesome experience.
This battlefield is set amongst and around a MASSIVE 20 acres of forest.
When you arrive you are fitted in the camoflage clothing and you get to put war paint on and told about the do's and dont's of the Game.
You get to challenge yourself and join forces with other people around your age and battle against another team.
Lots of different games are played and you can crouch down in the bush just like a 'real commando'!
Prices start from $30 for 2 hours and include a variety of different games.
This was wellworth the price!
Approximate cost: $30 for 2 hrs
This place offers riders a 2.2 km Cyling circuit so that you can get lots of riding practice or if you are a member of the cycling club.
My child was at this Criterium Cyling Track for a special event and got to ride his new bike around the circuit.
I had the pleasure of going to Casey Fields with my husband and one of my children to find out how much space there was there.
There is a massive large play area and lots of walkways to walk, ride or scoot.
This is certainly worth a look if you either live around the area or are just visiting like ourselves.
My family and I were passing through Cranbourne when we noticed Rosa's Bakery. The bacon & cheese rolls, finger buns, Jam slices and custard tarts were very delicious.
The aroma wafting through the door was lovely. There were a large variety of baked goods some savoury and some sweet. The lady who served me was pleasant and gave me a bag to put all my yummy food in.
I have been to this place on various occassions in the past 10 years.
It is a fantastic place to take kids as there is a nice shady area with table and chairs near the playground and you can order treats for you and your children and friends in the cafe.
When I went there with my girl friend we bought a light lunch of toasted sandwiches, scones and tea.
You can also buy High Teas, Fish & Chips, Quiche, Milk shakes, spiders and much more whilst relaxing in the conservatory.
A very enjoyable place to visit.
