organic coffee is the tastiest in the area - it's only take-away, but it's damn good and it's best to get an organic cinnamon doughnut with it, they make them to order, right there, hot and sugary. Their gelatis are amazing, too

the food at lamaro is always excellent, the quality of the ingredients and the skill with which dishes are conceptualised makes it a top restaurant in Melbourne. They have a small but good and regualrly updated wine list and great beers on tap including hoegaarden. The tables out the front, under the trees, overlooking Howe cresent are perfect for a summer drink.
