We stopped in for a cuppa on our way back from Girraween National Park, which is only a short drive up the road. The setting is very peaceful and full of country charm, with a lovely outdoor deck from which you can watch the beautiful bird life feeding. Lovely and cool on warmer days. The range of hot chocolate is great, and what started as one drink turned into three. We highly recommend the coconut, as well as the dark chocolate, and the mocha was also fantastic. The cottages up on the hill look very cosy also and we would love to come back and stay to enjoy the peace and quiet again, as we were very reluctant to leave. Thank you for a wonderful morning.
We have not eaten here before but the decor was very trendy and the menu options sounded good. So glad we stopped by, as the pizza was delicious, lots of flavour and huge chunks of chicken. The size was enough for two of us without stuffing ourselves and there are smaller sides if you need a little extra.
We stopped by for breakfast after seeing the morning specials board as we drove past, which turned out just as delicious as it sounded and was able to be tailored just slightly to make it vegetarian. The fresh pineapple juice was truly fresh, and even the avocado hummus smash was a nice change from the standard avo on toast. It has some unique decor, and apart from the service which wasn't overly great, we could definitely recommend the food.
We have driven past this restaurant hundreds of times but on a rainy day we thought it would be nice and quite so stopped in. The decor was nice, service friendly and food delivered promptly. Great flavour, and we would return.
Great tasting chips are something you really expect from a place such as this, which is what we got. But more to our surprise was the menu option of a High Tea Sandwich. That day's selection was cucumber with smoked salmon, something we hadn't ever tried before but very glad we did. Absolutely loaded with salmon, very fresh, and overall so refreshing that we've now gone on to make them ourselves for a snack. Would definitely stop here again. There is some dining outdoors if you want to stop to eat, or the river nearby as well. It stocks plenty of fresh seafood and some local deli items as well.
The decor is very comfy and the book corners and unique gifts for sale make for some peaceful relaxation while you wait for your food. The menu is nice, and our house made frittatas were delicious. A nice little find and we would stop here again.

It's quite sad that this location gets bypassed so much, as we have eaten here before (never been inside the castle grounds) and always found it lovely. Both our breakfast meals on this occasion were delicious and came with very friendly and prompt service. The macadamia spread on Turkish toast was especially delicious, just enough crunch and so full of flavour. It was a very pleasant stop for us and we will return.
Very friendly service and our meals were served incredible quick - they arrived before our drinks, and that wasn’t a long time either. We said we would share a meal and they brought it out served nicely on two plates, perfect for a lighter lunch for two.
Very friendly service. Food was served very quickly (we had 4 main meals), and the serving sizes were very generous, more than we had expected. Lovely place for dinner.
