This restaurant offers Korean BBQ where you can cook your food yourself at the table -this is a great small group experience. They also offer set meals and watching the menu on tv is great. I recommend the dumplings and sweet potato noodles.

This is my local garage who I have used for some major services and to fix problems and as long as they are here I will continue to use them. their quotes are always spot on and very competitively priced, the work is always done in a few days and sometimes even before the estimated day. The work is always thorough and they won't do anything above a quote without getting your confirmation first. Being a woman I don't trust many garages but this one is very honest and you mostly deal with the manager himself who obviously cares about his business.

This is my favourite place to go in Brisbane. It's chocolate heaven, and the only place where you want to eat dessert for dinner. Melted chocolate tubs with fruit, icecream, and such a big variety of other dessert and drink items. The place you can get chocolate on a pizza!

Small shop in Sherwood with a great variety of noodle dishes - Chinese, Malaysian, Thai. My kids favourite meal is Beef with black bean with hokkien noodles. It is one of our favourites. All food is fresh and cooked while you wait.

We have take away Thai from this restaurant on a monthly basis. The food is very tasty, it is one of the best Thai places around. They especially do a very memorable Tom Yum spicy soup :)

Lovely little Vietnamese restaurant in West End that makes really good food for a small price. It is very busy even during the week so recommend making a booking. Food is served quick and hot and it doesn't break the bank.

Salisbury Hotel has a fantastic $5 steak and chips night, the steak is as good as you would get anywhere. The meal is very good value and tastes high quality. Be prepared to book for Sunday night as its very popular.
