A busy Sunday morning but I still managed to get a table to sit and enjoy my hot chocolate. Ah bliss! You can tell you are in store that is part of a big chain, and the paper cups aren't fantastic - I prefer a china mug for the taste and the lack of waste - but all in all a good option.
Quality products here. You can tell you aren't eating processed food. Arrive first thing in the morning for that gorgeous bakery smell. Devine. They offer a wide range of products, but not your standard bakery fair, which makes it a nice alternative to the usual. Highly recommended.
Great fresh food at reasonable prices. I shop there because I am tired of the fruit and vegies on offer at large supermarkets. If quality matters to you I'd suggest you head to Clayfield Market. They also offer a nice range of deli products.
It's a little more pricey now than the good old days of the original Rosalie store, but a fantastic place for a treat. Bring your appetite or share with a friend. On busy nights you'll need to queue but worth the wait.
My husband and I love this place. We walk down and enjoy morning tea at least once a fortnight. The cakes are gorgeous, and if you order takeaway they come boxed up in beautiful packaging. A great idea if you are visiting somebody for morning/afternoon tea and don't want to arrive empty handed.

I used to be a regular visitor but found it a little busy for my tastes. Some people would love the vibe, but I found it was too loud. On the plus side: appointments always ran on time. On the minus side: often foils would be done by one person, then the cut by another. Not such a personal experience here.
A bulk billing clinic with some very good doctors. You have to book well in advance, which is great for routine check-ups or vaccinations, but not so great if you need an appointment at short notice (e.g. to get a medical certificate).

The $35 pack for 2 is amazing value. It easily feeds 3, maybe even 4. Great food, and always ready for takeaway in 15 minutes. This is the only Thai restaurant I'll eat in since returning to Australia after living in Asia for 4 years. Lovely food at great prices.

This is a neat little place to have a massage. Very convenient to the city centre. It doesn't look flash like a day spa, but this helps to keep the prices down. A good alternative to the crazy prices at rival businesses.

At first I was surprised at the $70 price tag but then I thought about how much hairdressers charge for a 25 minute trim and realised that this wasn't too bad at all. My old salon charged $20 but only took 10 minutes to do my brows. The brow bar charges more, but they spend 30 minutes doing your brows and also include a colour. My brows look AMAZING. Well worth it.
