friendly service, but system is a bit disorganised- to get a table number you need to bypass natural entry point. nice food but coffee not hot, despite being sent back, came again hotter but still not hot.

A lovely little cafe, attractively decorated, with a view across a bend in the road, through trees of the wide stretch of bay between Sandgate and Redcliffe. Staff were helpful and attentive and the food was yummy and very quickly served. They only do breaky and lunch, but the venue can be hired for evening functions. I'd stop there again.

This review is for Scott Damien's On The Lake, Caboolture QLD

I have dined at Scott Damiens a few years ago and had a good experience but was very disappointed when I went back a couple nights ago. We waited over an hour and a half for our meals (they couldnt have forgotten us we were a huge table) and when they did come I personally found mine tasteless until I added a lot of salt (something I never do). Quite overpriced in my opinion as well. I could get something tastier and a third of the price at my local takeaway. The service was, however, very friendly. Nevertheless, I wont be going back.

I want to start by saying the 3 stars for quality is not for the food, which is consistently tasty, but just that the place is starting to look a little worn. However, I was impressed by the service, particularly of one staff member who greeted us promptly and came round to check that all was well. The other staff were also mostly friendly. The movie meal deal is also great value and the medium sized meals are generous servings. Wasn't as impressed by $3 for two small slices of garlic toast, but on the other hand it was the right amount for an entree.

Solid cycle store, with good prices and good service. However, I did want to flag that I wasn't completely satisfied with the quality of servicing my bike received. It was the once, so hopefully it was just a one-off, but personally I now get my bike serviced elsewhere.

This review is for WORD, Alderley QLD

Going to WORD is always a pleasant experience. Calm ambiance and a great range of Christian books as well as CDs and Christian materials. Prices are good, though perhaps not as many bargains as Koorong, nevertheless, I never fail to find something worth reading that has a positive impact on my life. Staff are courteous and the store is well organised and very well presented.

This review is for Mini Movers (northside), Northgate QLD

I have used these removalists 6 times and they have been consistently excellent. I am a fairly independent mover and do a lot of small trips in my car, leaving the big stuff to these guys. They are quick, helpful, courteous, friendly and excellent value for money. I also liked the respect they showed to my mother and myself as women (I didnt feel at all patronized) and let us help. One year I got a separate piano mover, but I wont do that again, as it was a hassle and these guys managed it far better. They can do ground and storied houses and are particularly excellent for the short moves that I have done in the northside area (as distances are based on their return to the depot). They also did an extra drop off to a charity once when I had a fridge to give away.

This review is for Koorong, Mooloolaba QLD

I love shopping at Koorong and while shopping for one thing, typically come out with two bags of books and CDs. I prefer this store to the Wooloongabba one, as the parking is easier and the staff even more friendly. There also seems to be even more excellent specials at this store. (Plus, it's close to the beach! - can make for a great trip). Not as big as the southern store, but also not as busy. If it's Christian books and CDs that you are after this is the place to browse. Plus a nice comfy seat in the fiction section.

This review is for Video Ezy - Deception Bay, Deception Bay QLD

Amiable staff, clean store. Good range. Can usually get the DVD you want. Plus, is my closest DVD store. However, my pet peeve is no cheap day! This means that I will drive a little further rather than go to this store, which means that they dont get as much of my business as they could. A few more older films wouldnt hurt either. Otherwise, a good store.

Occasionally for my job I need older DVDs and having tried all the stores in the Redcliffe and surrounding areas this would be my store of choice for finding the DVD I want. The range is easily the best, including a lot of older films. The store is usually very busy and so service can be slow, and getting a park is tricky. Can usually get the new release film you want as well.
