Very friendly, helpful service. Good advice from Optometrist. Got a great deal on my glasses. Have always had a good experience at OPSM and this store is the best yet.
West End experience in Redcliffe!
A toasty fire, beautiful decor, tasty food, outstanding service and delish desserts combined to make this place one to rave about. I've already mentioned it to several friends. Worth booking a table.

Yes, as other reviewers have said the service isnt amazing, but it is reasonable. However, the prices are worth coming to JJs for- many bargains snatched up here over the years. Also, its important to support a small business like this- particularly when there are so few sewing and fabric shops around Worth having cash with you, too.
Tucked into a pretty corner of the Scarborough waterfront is this great shoe store. I had a ball shopping here- the salesladies were friendly and not pushing you to buy. I got a unique and gorgeous pair of high, high heels which I love, plus a beautiful bag that I also love. The shoes here are a treat and I would go here first for a special pair. Fun shopping experience.
What I like about Marriott's is that it twists and winds like a maze, so many aisles and sections! And lots of good secondhand books. This is a good place to browse and hunt and has a great selection of the classics in both children's and sci fi, as well as myriad other categories. You can also sell your second hand books as well.
Joined a large group of friends for a social birthday and had a good time. Several of us had the new lamb pizza and it was a winner! Everyone's meals looked good- definitely a cut above. And a reasonable price as well. The wait staff service was particularly worth mentioning and I appreciated the takehome box for the half of my pizza I wasn't able to finish. A reasonably nice house red too. A family atmosphere. Felt welcome and ate well. Would go again.
A relaxed, homey place right on the waterfront. Location amazing! Loved being able to jump into the gentle water, or lie on the beach and then walk a few metres to sit on the front porch. Also great to be able to walk to so many great food places nearby. Neat, if a little worn around the edges- which actually makes you feel comfortable and able to bring a little sand in off the beach without feeling too naughty. Well set up in kitchen to be able to cook for a group. We travelled as a group of 5 friends and, although an extra loo wouldn't have gone astray, the two showers helped a lot. Reasonable price- particularly considering location. Excellent service at front desk.
Hadn't been here prior to the Rodeo, but was impressed by the organisation and service at that time. Top marks to the friendly bartender. The clean ladies room was also appreciated. I would come back.
The place looked packed, so I thought the food must be good. I was told there would be a wait and I didn't mind as I had the time. However, my takeaway was some of the worst Chinese I've had for a long time. Soggy where it should have been crispy. Tasteless. The front of house, while pleasant was disorganised and customers addressed out of order. It was also more pricey than I usually pay. I don't usually post negative reviews, but I would say: avoid!
Yum. This place is just right for a local Thai. Tasty food, quick cooking. The prices are fairly standard for decent takeaway and the service is friendly. Although there are more popular places in the North Lakes surrounds, this place tastes just as good, if not better, with easier parking and less waiting.
