Nice location, easy parking, friendly staff. It was Saturday night and there were a lot of large groups making for a very noisy evening - it was very hard to hold a conversation in this place. Some dishes are reasonably priced and others are ridiculous - I ordered a piece of Roti and it cost $7, and then I was also charged for peanut sauce on the side which I didn't ask for. The servings are large and very filling however - try the squid, it's to die for.

This review is for Azure, Mount Hawthorn WA

The Mount Hawthorn cafe strip is increasingly popular so I got the impression that Azure restaurant feel that they do not need to provide exceptional service or prices to attract customers. The decor is very inviting and the food is a consistently high standard, offering main courses or if you prefer just a cake and coffee from their patisserie. The prices are quite high and the service was not as good as I had hoped - my friend had to ask for soup 3 times and it never came out. My beef cheeks were cooked to perfection however and everyone enjoyed their meal.

We ordered one Mafioso pizza to go on a Thursday and were surprised by the quick, friendly service. Unlike many local pizzerias, there is an excellent range of products here including calzones and gelati. The pizza is topped with good ingredients including fresh herbs, the sauce is so good, and the base is nice and crunchy.

Bridal Creations are helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. They can organise a range of things from flowers to decorations to bomboniere and the quality is absolutely top notch. I was so pleased with everything that Bridal Creations did for my wedding.

We had our lunch wedding reception on Friday 13th June, 2008 at the Old Brewery function centre. The centre is beautiful and requires no additional decorations (vases with tealights provided) or chair covers (the chairs are just fine the way they are). The meal was delicious (we opted for canapes, a choice between beef or fish, then a apple & pear crumble dessert, which is what the price of $65 below includes - we paid for drinks separately as it was a lunch, ended up paying about $100/head in the end). The service was exceptional (the function staff, the waiters, the chef - everyone).

I visit Truffles regularly as I work nearby. They are open for lunch Monday - Saturday. Their coffee is good (but a little overpriced) and there is a large variety of cafe style food made to order. You have to try the Chicken Panini - the mayonnaise they put inside is absolutely divine. Takeaway is also available.

We visited Maya on a Sunday night at 6:30pm. Our group comprised 10 people. The decor is beautiful and the menu extensive. We all enjoyed the food very much (although my spinach lamb dish was a little tasteless, the other dishes ordered were very tasty). The service was a little average though, considering the atmosphere, decor and price. Six people on our table ordered the banquet and the others ordered a la carte. After taking our order, the waitress returned and advised that the whole table had to have the banquet, even though the menu only stated that there needed to be a minimum of 4 people ordering this. No reason was given. Another waiter came out afterwards and said the chef would have trouble apportioning the banquet (it wasn't a buffet, so I can't see how this was an issue). His face looked a little apologetic and we received a more attentive service after this, but no verbal apology was given. It soured the night somewhat unfortunately.

Aurora do takeaway pizza. We ordered a supreme pizza on a Saturday night. Firsly we were not given a choice of pizza base but received a thick, doughy base reminiscent of Domino's. There was not much on the pizza and the ingredients that were on there were not fresh. I've only eaten here once so perhaps I ordered on a bad day, but I won't be ordering from here again.

Marco's do takeaway pizza. It's not woodfired but you wouldn't know the difference, it's that tasty. They have a great range of regular and gourmet pizzas including mediterranean pizzas (my favourites are the italian sausage and the prosciutto pizzas). As a guide a large gourmet pizza costs $20.

I ordered takeaway for 2 from GoGo's. I called at 5:30pm on a Sunday and the order was ready for pickup within 20 minutes. We ate the Chef's recommendations of Beef Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala, both of which were delicious. The Naans were reasonably priced and very large. Overall we were very happy with our takeaway experience!
