One of my favourite for Korean bbq, the selection is fresh and as other reviewers have mentioned, they are generous with the side dishes. The kimchi was very yummy and crunchy fresh as well. We were a bit embarrassed asking for top up a few times but they obliged and didn't say anything (or maybe they did but we just couldn't understand :P)

In term of value, IMHO it is not the best, with the quantity of meat provided and the price you pay is a bit much for my liking. Obviously you pay for the eating out experience etc as well.

Highly recommend this place, always busy especially dinners on the weekends. From my understanding they have 2 or 3 Jonga Jip restaurants in Eastwood at very close proximity to each other. I have been to two of them and I like the bigger one better next to the car park.

You simply cannot go wrong with the Hainan chicken rice at this place. It comes with a big bowl of chicken rice and you can choose chicken breast or thigh which comes on a separate plate and they put the soy sauce and sesame oil on top of the chicken. Help yourself with different chilli sauces on the counter. Highly recommend this simply nicely done chicken rice.

Another dish that I usually order from here is beef stir fried rice noodles which I enjoy a lot.

Approximate cost: $10-14

Prepare to queue and wait for a table in this small establishment with great authentic Thai food. Been here couple of times with family and friends. Never been disappointed. Definitely recommend this place and it is located near Central Station and if you didn't know this place exist, might be a bit hard to find.

Staff always friendly, great atmosphere with the crowd there.

We had lunch here on Sunday and it was a bit disappointing.

We ordered larb gai the mince chicken salad which was nice – portion was good. We had the crispy pork belly stir fried with greens but portion was very small with not many pork pieces. Noodles with duck breast, once again portion is small like an entrée rather than main. Ordered stuffed pork sausages with glutinous rice – tasted a bit tangy and was pretty good but don't think it was a good value for $10.

I don't think I would visit Chat Thai again…especially with so many other great Thai places in Sydney CBD like Spice I am, Home Thai to name a few which provides more value.

This place has two separate menus for some reason….one for eat in and one for takeaway.

Service staff is ok – as expected.

A lot of different types of desserts from lychee to plum and black sesame flavours ice cream is one of my favourite. They also have the cookies and cream range, and you have to try their desserts.

ok, if you had martabak manis before in Indonesia... then this place is the next best thing to it.

They offer martabak with different topping, cheese, chocolate, peanuts, banana with different base (normal or blackforrest).

They do free delivery if order is more than $25 but only to certain area and delivery starts from 5pm. In the past I had them delivered to my work which arrived around 6pm.

I just wish they can start delivering a bit earlier...anyway good martabak manis !!! yum yum

I love Pinangsia noodles - the bakmi karet and the bakso goreng (fried beef balls) and only if I could visit more often!!

The noodles (bakmi karet) was very chewy and homemade, comes with chicken, mushroom, a bit of greens. You can also choose some other toppings like bbq pork or fried wonton.

Bakso goreng is huge ball, crunchy and dip it in the watery chilli sauce they have, is heavenly. It is so yummy and we always have two balls each (last I check was about $2 ea??)

Service was always friendly and they have in the corner a table for condiments and cups for customers to help themselves. Price is very reasonable.

Definitely one of our favourite Indonesian restaurant in Kingsford!

The one that I visited was located in the Dixon Food Court. They have been operating for numerous of years.

Staff and service is always friendly and never had any issues with them.

Last time I went there, ordered the 2/3 dishes with rice for less than $10 which is pretty good considering in Sydney CBD.

Presentation wise is not great - something you would expect at a food court.

Taste was pretty good and all authentic Indonesian/Chinese food. Love the curry chicken, sambal telor or sambal eggplant, but found the beef rending to be a bit tough and nothing special.

I used to work around the corner from Baxter Inn and this is the place where you would read about them on Time Out, food & wine tips books etc. This is one of the best bars in Sydney which massive selection of spirits. It is a small bar located in a back alley on Clarence St. There are no signage and only way to know this place exists if someone takes you there or gives you a very good direction. (Right next to Manipulate Hairdresser there is an alley, go in, turn right, entrance to a basement door will lead you to the bar)

Definitely highly recommend this place, very good atmosphere. They also serve complimentary salted pretzel!!

Had a quick lunch here today and wasn't that impressed. Didn't order a lot. We ordered the prawn rice dumpling (har cheong), siu mai, har kau (prawn dumpling), stir fried noodles, egg tarts.

Egg tarts was very nice and light, it didn't break and pastry was crunchy.

The prawn dumplings were crunchy and fresh with big prawns. Nothing special with the stir fried noodles unfortunately.

Had better yum cha in my opinion.
