Didn't get a chance to dine here, but I just had to put a mention for this place because the pies and pastries in the shop looked soooo good! You think standard pie, then multiply that by big and you have one of the pies here. I wish I could go back and try, but we ended up in a little place down the road that was quite disappointing: Picolo's. Come here instead...

It was a busy Saturday. They finally found a table for two and they did say thankyou for waiting. That was nice. But that's where it ended. After sitting for about 10-15 minutes, it took ages for us to flag someone down to actually take out order. However, after this the food came out relatively quick.
Had the damper and the German Experience. Damper's not as good as Hahndorf Inn and the German Experience is as expected from either place.
Hit or miss? It's much of a muchness.

I went and bought something a shop and this website was included in the contents of the box.
I have visited the site and it's quite cute in a nice kiddy sort of way.
One of those things to do if you like cows. It's not something that I can highly recommend that everyone see, but it's ok to watch if you have time spare.

Quaint little shop where you can buy beads, pendants and the like.
Happy for you to browse, but there are signs saying if you can't find what you're looking for, they'll help you either find, create or design it.
With that in mind, it's not actually too bad. If I had a need for this stuff, I would come here

This is one of those nice Asian shops where you can get bootleg and other region movies.
Some of them can be Hollywood and stuff, but if you come here, that's not what you're after.
I bought Death Note 1 and 2 here. $10 each. Not great value, but it's decent. the quality for bootleg makes it actually very reasonable.

She's the Australian of the Year for 2010 and the creations here are fabulous. Where else are you going to find something like Burnt fig with something something and other icecream? It's all fabulous!
But they did put a bottle of vinegar with the verjuices so you tried them all and got something a little bit of a surprise when sampling the vinegar.

They describe the pizza here as 'The Best in SA' and it seems like it was going to meet expectations. The staff were all buzzing and everything was going accordingly.
However, when the pizzas came, they were a bit too salty and the haiwiian didn't have any taste. Bit disappointing overall so didn't think too much of it.
Bit pricey for not that great pizza

This is your one stop shop for all dried fruit needs as well as some nice giftware?
It's got all the normal items like apricots and peaches, but they have some other wonderful creations and hard to gets such as cranberries and all the glazed things.
Bit on the above average side, but it's the quality and freshness you're paying for so it's worth it

This is a young and switched on team that know their stuff.
Must admit that some of the things they described were a little 'old school', but they got the point across and it wasn't the core service.
Still new to us, so it'll take time to form the relationship needed to move forward.
