Certainly an excellent bakery with great food, ice cream, coffee. The service is great and the place is clean and organised. The only complaint is their prices are very high eg. $5+ for a large cappuccino or $3.50 for a very small ice cream. Also, they are closed Sundays and public holidays which is crazy given how busy Woodside is on those days. I guess they are making so much money they can afford to stay closed on these days.

Great pub food, especially the beef schnitzel - huge serves so bring your appetite. Don't forget to check out the well at the end of the bar . . seriously, it's a hole about 50m deep in the restaurant.

Came to Dubbo for 2 nights with our three young daughters to visit the Western Plains Zoo. Booked and paid for a cabin three weeks in advance. Arrived after driving all day to get here to be told they had inadvertently cancelled our booking and given the cabin to someone else and now had no cabins or anything else left for the first night of our stay . . . but we could come back tomorrow for the second night! They called their competitor who had one cabin left which turned out to be an insect infested dog box but we had no other options as it's school holidays and everything is booked out (which is why we booked in the first place!!!). Came back the next morning after much inconvenience and aggravation and to compensate us for the stuff up they reduced the cabin price by $16 to $95. I suggested they could do a lot better like give it to us for free but they didn't seem to think it warranted that kind of discount - I disagree!

I had an unfortunate incident where the engine in my Landcruiser seized when we rolled the car on it's side (that's another story) and the bottom line was that we needed a new or reconditioned engine. Toyota diesels are pretty expensive ($10k plus) so I was happy to find these guys about $2000 less than the 3 or 4 other quotes I had. Best of all, they promised a turnaround time of a "couple of days" to replace the engine. This was good as we needed to get the body repaired as well and were keen to continue our trip around oz. Anyway, I dropped the car in and three and a half weeks later and way over their quoted price they finished the job. Not happy. I have some mechanical experience so could tell they were spinning me stories many times when I chased up the car. When I finally picked up the car there was a new noise in the clutch which they were not interested in looking at (too hard) and I didn't have any more time to pursue it. This is a classic case of saying what I wanted to hear to get the business then moving the goal posts when they had the the job.

How do you know when a mechanic is lying to you? His lips are moving and there's sound coming out . . . from plenty of bad experiences, this used to be my firm belief until I met Phil at Boronia Auto Electrics and now I'm more open minded. Phil was referred to me to get a trailer brake controller fitted and when I arrived my first impression was that his workshop was spotless. This built some confidence and after talking with Phil for 10 or 15 minutes while he clearly explained the pros and cons of the various models and gave me firm prices up front. He had plenty of time for me and didn't push me down a particular path. When I picked up the car he hadn't discovered any new work that needed doing as they so often do and again he spent another 15 minutes teaching me how to use the controller. what a top bloke. I subsequently had a second battery system installed and the service was just as good second time round. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This place is unique. It is a bookshop, musicshop and cafe all wrapped up in a beautiful spacious renovated building on the Main street in Eltham. The cafe serves typical cafe fair and great coffee and in the 30+ times I've been there I've never had anything to complain about. It has a great atmosphere and plenty of room. They are also quite kiddy friendly.

This place is great - always crowded, laminated tables, absolutely no airs and graces but the food is excellent and the prices are sooo cheap. No matter how busy they are we've never waited more then 10 minutes for a table and the food comes out seemingly minutes after being ordered. Fine dining it IS NOT. But if you want a table full of great spicy Vietnamese food in a loud and totally relaxed atmosphere then this is the place to go.

Haven't been for a few years but these guys had the best garlic prawn pizzas I've ever had. They were awesome. The entire pizza would be covered with huge prawns and the price was very reasonable given the location. Ate in several times and can't fault it but had plenty of take away pizzas.

Have been a regular there since 1992. They started as a small budget Italian cafe and became very popular with the Eltham locals. Expanded into the shop next door and prices went up significantly but the quality of the food has remained excellent. Try the calamari for entree and the Spaghetti Mafia for mains.
