I had what should have been a small moving job this week, but when the furniture arrived I needed to ask the two guys to move something else out of the way...and upstairs! Not easy and not planned. They approached the challenge with good humour and intelligence and managed to get the piece upstairs, when I suspect others might have said "too hard" or insisted this was not what they had been booked for.
Removals must be hard work and often thankless, so I was impressed these men had the right attitude for the job.

I found an old dining table on the roadside a few years ago and thought it might be worth 'getting fixed up' one day. A friend in the antiques business recommended Birch have a look at it. We forgot about it for a few years and recently followed up to see if the job was underway. It was finally delivered last month and the result took my breath away and still does on a daily basis.
