The first time I used The Pets Hotel was after my dog's abdominal surgery. I hated to leave him but had to go to the US for my mother's funeral. I wanted a place that I could feel confident he would be well taken care of. I had heard wonderful things about The Pets Hotel but that they were expensive. I took the plunge and was glad I did! They carefully fed him the specially-prepared baked chicken and rice dishes I prepared and it worked because he did not lose any weight but instead regained the weight he had lost.

Since then, I only use The Pets Hotel when I travel because I have an active dog and they have the closely supervised daytime playtime for him with other dogs with similar temperament. I watch them on the Live Webcam and am impressed with they way they handle the dogs - they're always happy and get along because they are so closely supervised. I also use other "extras" they provide, such as taking him for walks, extended playtime and cuddles.

My boy Jake always looks forward to his next stay. He craves his hugs from The Pets Hotel "goddesses". He always arrives home happy, relaxed and in great condition.

They are, by far, the best kennels I have ever used.

I have eaten in some of the best Italian restaurants in the US - San Francisco, Atlanta, New York's Little Italy - but this is my favorite! Pleasant Unpretentious atmosphere and the best Risotto I have ever had. Risotto alla Pescatora is chock full of fresh clams, mussels, prawns, calamari, etc and is beautifully prepared by Gerardo (who also painted the artwork!) and served by the charming Fabio. It was Wednesday, which is seafood night, so it was $20 for the amount of seafood that you would expect to pay twice as much somewhere else.
On Thursdays, it's $15 steak night. I recommend the porterhouse with fantastic mushroom sauce (my husband loves the peppercorn sauce)

Tables were dirty and very sticky but the Fish and Chips were the best ever. I was even accommodated for my gluten intolerance with a light, flaky non-fried fish. The chips were fried in a light oil and were some of the best I've ever had.
