I love this very cosmopolitan hotel. Outdoor area for smoking (on the footpath), or chose between a bustling public bar with heaps of benches and stools, or secluded meals area where the lights are low and the seating is ver comfy. Prices are ok for the CBD, the service is always friendly. Love it.

Don't buy you meat from the supermarket anymore. This discount butcher has a great range and when you buy in bulk, the savings are amazing. 5kg of premium mince for around $6 a kg, whole sides of lamb and the specials are great. They also sell hot chickens, some veggies and drinks. Don't forget to buy a sausage sizzle on your way back to the car. I've tried other discount bulk butchers but these guys are the best quality and cheapest. Enjoy.

Best fresh and cooked fish in Brisbane. Good range - prawns, crabs, local oysters, scallops and lots of choice for fresh fish and more. They also have salads. The crumbed barra is amazing. Always busy but worth the wait. Delicious!
