I went here for a birthday dinner, and have to admit have only ever been back for drinks after that. First impressions last with me, and I had the risotto and it was the most bland dish I have ever had. It honestly tasted like a bowl of claggy rice, with nothing else in it. Prices are OK. Great atmosphere, some times a little loud, great place for drinks with mates....

This place has huge potential, but definately lacking any at all at the moment. The seating is definately uncomfortable. Nice to have a cosy fire place, but some cusy furniture around would definately liven the place up. Its quite over priced for mains, unless your there for the specials on Tapa's etc. I think on a Sunday or something. The service is pretty average, very slow when ordering drinks, ten times quicker to go straight to the bar. I think this place is perfect for coffee and cake after shopping/movies, or Sunday session drinks... But not the kind of place I would get the fam together for dinner or anything.

Absolutely agree with the last comment. Best value in town, especially for an inner eastern suburb. Very traditional dishes as hard to beat prices. One of the best in Melbourne deefinately.

best place for a quick pick up lunch in the CBD $7.50 and its soooo filling, healthy and Yummy!! Very limited seating and can get sqaushy when queing if busy! Still highly recommend! Go the Hawaii 5 -O!!!

$8 for a bowl of rice is criminal!! four pieces of meat if your lucky in a shallow dish... The flavours are nice. But prices and service disgusting. Im Indian and know a good traditional restaurant when I see one! And lady that serves is extremely rude. These are the prices you would pay for a 5 star restaurant in the city. Not a dingy restaurant near FTG station.
