Have eaten here several times across 3 years and must admit it's has always been consistently good food at decent prices. It's not the finest Italian you'll ever eat and the service won't always leave the best taste in your mouth but it's not whats expected. They don't pretend to be something that they are not but they do whip up a consistenly good pasta or pizza

Service department runs like a dream in this place. Am sure they have their faults but am yet to find one. Car drop is easy and staff know who you are and what's being done before you step out of the car. They greet you by name and are fast efficient and professional. Decent value for money. Ashlee and Marie pleasure to deal with.

The property management side of this business is exceptional, proactive, attentive and professional and manage to steer the hazardous neutral course between tenant and investor. From the first point of contact Lily was a pleasure to deal with, listening to requirements, eager to assist and went out of her way to ensure we secured the right property quickly and easily, and instilling quality tenants into her client's investment. As the face of this business (unheard of by me prior to this) she is an asset that is as friendly as she is professionally astute. In an industry so over run with one property manager after the other who just don't seem to want the job or simply burned out, Buyer's Advocate was a breath of fresh air. As a former landlord myself but now tenant, I would recommend her services to anyone in the area looking for someone who will earn their fee.

I bought an ex-demo Sony Xperia Xz Premium from this store (the actual purchase was from Resevoir but they transferred the phone to St Kilda for convenience). Expecting the worst I was and continue to be pleasantly surprised with both the quality of product and value for money. Upon purchase the phone had a damaged sim tray, they began the rigmarole of ordering one but then realised they had an identical phone in stock for sale, so swapped sim trays so I could use my phone immediately and pulled the other from sale until a new tray had arrived. At one point one of the guys there even offered to drive out and personally deliver the new tray out to me if we'd had to order one. Not sure what their repair service is like but these guys are rasonable and pretty good value. I'd recommend it anyone wanting a flagship smartphone possibly used but refurbished for a fraction of the $1,400 I once stupidly paid to Apple for their latest offering.

First time used and they arrived on time, mechanic was very professional and courteous. After inspection of the car, took me through step by step what had happened and why, showing me each piece of failed component or part as he went. Had to requote on the spot and he gave me the option of ordering parts there and then and repairing the following day or leaving with me a day or two to give me the chance to get quotes. I took this option but insisted I pay for his time spent already, a call out fee if nothing else, which he politely refused. Didn't end up using them for the repair as weighed options and traded car as it was. Nonetheless received an email from them reminding me the now sold car was due for service. And that is service, to a one off customer who never actually spent a cent with them. Well done Lube mobile, you've got my future business!! Price below is what was quoted, each job would vary significantly

Food is always fresh and hot but the service can sometimes spoil the meal so to speak. A regular who I assume is the owner or manager behind the counter usually never smiles, nor do the kitchen hands or assistants on shift. Little things like that go a long way. Will continue to eat here as food is of consistent quality.

As always, just exceptional quality food consistently delivered with some of the best service in this country. I have been eating here since it first opened and met owners Paul (head chef) and Marco (front of house) soon after. Both of them consumate professionals and perfectionists at what they do. You MUST try the thrice cooked chips and/polenta chips... both the best you could ever get.

This place is quite simply 10/10 ... always has been and always will be so long as Paul is in charge of the menu. Speaking of which, if there was a gripe, please don't change that menu too often; I know it's done with in season ingredients being as fresh as possible but you have no idea how deflated one feels looking forward to say the osso bucco and sitting down to it vanished from the menu. Perhaps just keep a few of the stalwarts on a continual loop. We'll done boys

If there could be zero stars they'd have it!! The property management side of this business is an absolute joke (review does not relate to sales or sales agents). I am writing this review as a concerned friend of McGrath St Kilda tenants who are too fearful of reprisal by way of more incompetence, lack of service or worse, breach action. My opinion here is my own but an informed one; I have spent at least 2 days per week at the until since it was leased in March 2018, and have been present for inspections,. Maintenance visits, property manager and owner drop ins and several of the debacles listed below. These tenants have lived without a functioning hot water system for ten and a half months now out of a 12 month lease agreement. It is a continuous gas system relying on the ignition of a pilot light everytime a hot water tap is turned on. The unit is at least 10 years old and the brand/model have a shocking record for failure. Problem first advised to McG April 2018, plumber attended late June, cleaned the unit but agreed it should be replaced. Weeks go by and nothing. Advised McG again July, depths of winter no hot water 8 times out of ten the tap is turned on. August SAME plumber attends, does and says same thing. Repeat the above another 2-3 times and you get the drift. At one point the PM TV acknowledged one of the requests for it to be fixed with "are you saying it's been not working this whole time?". Mmmm well yes, hence a request about it every 6-8 weeks. And still, despite the PM's odd acknowledgement in October, it's now January. No hot water. Still. WOW!

Its and old house split into 3 tenancies. Wiring in the whole place very old, dodgy and a fire hazard. Circuits would trip with just a toaster and washing machine running at the same time. One day power acred inside unit using washing machine as a conductor giving a very nasty shock to one tenant. About an hour later power went out. And stayed out. For 9 days. Citipower came and told all occupants it was unsafe to reside there until the whole property was rewired. At the time my friends had friends staying from overseas. A convoys of people came and went but not one of them from McG, not one phone call or email to say "hey sorry the building almost killed one of you but it's too dangerous to stay there so we've arranged alternate temporary accom like we're supposed to". PFFT! They were forced to stay there for over a week with no power, no heat in darkness at the onset of winter. After everything was fixed they excused a week's rent for the inconvenience (pretty sure rent cannot be charged by law in that situation), pity that didn't even begin to cover the food lost from fridge and freezer alone.

Dishwasher not working from day one and advised at latest end April on a co tinuing system much like the hot water. Someone acty came and fixed it. In September. It broke down again in October. And is still not working. Yet no compensation or reduction in rent for living without a dishwasher when the property was advertised with one.

Toilet floor is rotted out from continual leaks to the point the floor subsides two inches when the toilet is sat on. It's on the second floor and is only a matter of time before it goes straight thru the floor. Advised of issue at least 5 occasions. Ten and a half months on, hey toilet floor is still rotten and sinks when toilet is sat upon. Bathroom vanity tap came away from its mount in July and just flopped about until fixed several days ago. The list really is endless and I could go on but won't. You all get the picture. The attendance to any maintenance request at this agency is beyond bad. The service in property managernt is deplorable to say the least. Tenants should feel insulted by this lack of action and service. To the PM whose "responsibility" it is to service this property YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. The owner of this property surely should be charged with some form of neglect. If you're an investor wirh a rental under "management" with these clowns do yourself a favour an drop by to chat to your tenant one day and find out just how managing is going on. And then the next time you sks them to issue you a ledger receipt ask that they make it out to daylight robbery. Avoid them at all costs.

PS - remember the hot water problem. Well their water bill just came in at almost $600, 4 times the usual amount. No it's OK TV, they'll just suck that one up too!!

UPDATE JAN 2019: Still no hot water, still no dishwasher. No big surprise
