Took my Kia Carnival here for a service instead of the usual place and was impressed with the service, the free wash, written instructions on what needed to be fixed and the friendly service. Will be back.

Visited with my son and he had a nice Aussie beef burger and chips. No complaints at all. I had a lovely Spicy Chicken burger and fries. Fries were soooo good. I passed my compliments onto the waitress who said she would tell the chef. It was a nice view eating outdoors with no walls overlooking the Brisbane River. Parking just out the front and plenty of places to walk off lunch afterwards down by the river. Great spot. Will visit again.

First time I went there for dinner and the food was okay but not that special. Second time I went for lunch with 11 other people and sat at a nice long table. It was Sunday lunch but we were allowed to choose from the $10.95 Mon to Fri lunch menu so I had a battered fish burrito. It was really nice and the fries that came on the side were sensational. So crunchy and good. Best I've had for ages. Our waiter Matt was great bringing us bottles of water and cleaning our plates promptly. Didn't have to wait long for our meals despite there being 12 of us at the table. Excellent and will return again.

Approximate cost: $10.95

Went here first time with my husband for a Friday night dinner that was a buy one get one free main meal. Great value. So much on the menu to choose from. Finally settled on the Seafood Basket. It was pretty good except the Squid Rings were undercooked and tasted like floury dough. Couldn't eat them all. Everything else was nice. The dessert menu has quite a bit on it and they are cheap at mostly $5.50. They are small however but just enough for a sweet treat after dinner without pushing you over the full stomach level. The flourless chocolate cake was really yummy. Decor is a little RSL looking but a nice meal out.

I have used Momento to print wedding albums and family travel trip albums for years. Their service is excellent and they always keep in contact when things happen in their production schedule such as the flood they had and they make things right with credits to your account and apologetic phone calls.

Twice however they have sent wedding albums out on my behalf and they were the wrong albums so my clients had to return them. That's really the only problems I've had.

Everything else they do is excellent. Not cheap albums but really good quality, nice boxes, and lots of options for albums. I like their low budget spiral albums and their A3 grand ones and the ones inbetween; actually I like them all. Their swatch samples for professional photographers is also very good so clients can choose a special fabric cover. I plan to keep using them for years.

Overall not a bad place. Plenty of parking on site. Skates are pretty good for hire skates. People of all ages were skating and having fun. Their microphone system is rather hard to hear and clarity is poor in certain parts of the rink depending on where you are. Not quite sure what was going on at times. You can hire Penguins for $5 to help little kids skate but it does seem to give them a licence to go in any direction at anytime so you have to watch out for them as they can trip you up. But overall a good place to go for a skating experience.

We went here yesterday after a big four wheel driving trip to the Northern beaches. There was a group of 19 of us arriving just on dinner time and there was plenty of available tables that were long so we could all sit together.

The menu was pretty limited to a steak option, burger and a few seafood dishes. Not much variety but the food was pretty good and you could help yourself to lots of different sauces at a table near the kitchen. They used the buzzer on the table system which was okay. The food arrived pretty fast considering the number of people in our group. Drinks like Lemon Lime and Bitters being only $3 per glass was good value which was handy since the water they gave us was really bad. It had a terrible just out of a warm tap kinda taste and nobody in our group drank it. The decor is open and inviting like a resort style place. Might be a bit chilly in winter but I did see a bunch of gas heaters out the back. Was lovely in summer time for the sea breezes that passed through.

After dinner we went to the outdoor play area and even being mostly a bunch of adults, we went and played on the giant rubber pillow. It's in a fenced area with no age limit and was really fun but exhausting. Overall the place was pleasant, welcoming and we would go there again after our next four wheel driving adventure.

I've had two cars serviced by Mark from A Grade Mechanical Repairs at Thornside recently and find him to be very honest and does a good job. And for less than my usual car service centre where we bought our car.

He even gave me a small red first aid kit for my car which was a nice touch.

They are moving to Wynnum so it's further for me to travel but might be worth it when you find an honest mechanic you can trust.

My husband has also had his work van serviced many times by Mark.

Coming from New Zealand we had never seen this concept of a conveyor belt bringing food to you before so our family tried it out for our son's birthday and we've been back several times since. I love their hot calamari rings with the very strong tasting mayonnaise. So fresh and yummy. This is always the first thing I head for and then get some sushi and other items. Easy to see how much you are spending by adding up the plates and matching them to the coloured chart on the wall. Just for fun we like to stack our plates up really high and take photos of them. Everybody goes away happy. The service is good and the food is yummy. Handy to home and easy parking being at the main shopping centre on the outside.

Love going here and go often. It's awesome. The white plates are huge, and the salad takes up half of the plate so you know you are getting lots of nutrition as well as the beautiful fish (I always go for grilled) and the crunchy chips. Sometimes we have a sea scallop or two as well and they never fail to be delicious. There is a drinks fridge in the shop so we normally get some ice tea to go with our meal. My teenagers love it too and as long as you get there before rush hour you can get parking and a table. Tables overlook the lovely Raby Bay with the boats so it's pretty relaxing and enjoyable. Have taken friends there and recommended it to others. Never had a bad experience there. We just call it "The Fish Place" and the whole family know where we are going and enjoy it.
