Have purchased a lot of toys at this shop, there service is fantastic, on many occasions I have specified the age and gender of the child and they have taken me around the store and shown me various gift options. I have also purchased toys for my own boys, on one occasion I had a Dinosaur Train dinosaur that stopped working, I didn't have my receipt but the girl remembered me and gladly exchanged the item. Even though they are slightly more expensive than KMart or Target the service is fabulous, the store is neat, tidy and well stocked so I would prefer to pay a little extra for the service and wide range.

Have had photos printed on a number of occasions, fantastic friendly informative service to the point where they advise you of cheaper options. Excellent quality and the two guys that have always served me are wonderful when it comes to recommending sizes of prints etc.

We have moved twice in the last 12 months, the first time the majority of our belongings went into storage and some to a house then the 2nd time we moved we had belongings come out of storage and a house. Dawe 2 Door are fantastic. They turn up on time every time. They are quick, thorough and very professional. I have moved about 40 times in my life, quite a few interstate moves with work where the big removalists have come in and packed etc. I have never in my life used a removalist a second time simply due to poor service and my belongings suffering damage. I have used Dawe 2 Door twice and will use them again. None of our items were damaged, we did have some damage on furniture from a previous removalist and Peter repaired this for us without us even asking. He is friendly and a nice guy too but best of all efficient and professional at what he does. I recommend them to anyone moving as the stress is really taken out of the move.

Fantastic butcher, stocks organic and free range meat which is important to me. The best steak you will ever eat, he isn't a butcher that will try the hard sell either, on many occasions he has suggested cheaper cuts of meat that he has personally tried when I have asked for scotch fillet. His bacon is the nicest bacon, not over salty, rindless and just lovely. He stocks a very wide range of meat and if you are lucky you may even be able to pick up some fresh caught local whiting but you have to be quick for this as it goes quickly! He's a lovely man too and always very friendly to my children.

I started purchasing from Wrigglepot 3 years ago when I lived in Sydney. The service was brilliant, quick delivery of items, fast answers to questions about products when I emailed too. Free postage which is a plus when you are buying things online. Excellent range of baby related items and organic products and clothing too, fantastic for gifts too. I have over the years purchased pj's, sleeping bags, baby weaning products, toys, modern cloth nappies and swim nappies. Karen from Wrigglepot is always a pleasure to deal with, returns are easy if something doesn't fit and the products she sells are of excellent quality. Would happily recommend this business to anyone wanting to purchase products for babies or children.

This review is for Carolyn's Hair Studio, Thorneside QLD

I moved from Sydney about 18 months ago and had to find a new hair dresser. I went to a couple of different hair dressers but was not happy with the cut or price. I stumbled upon Carolyn's Hair Studio by chance and have been going there for 8 months or so now. I have a short hair style and am very very fussy with how it is cut as I have a double crown at the back and a cowlick at the front. She cuts it how I like it every single time and the best thing is that the style looks good even as it grows out for 8 weeks. I have had a couple of colour experiments too and have been very happy with the results. Carolyn is a lovely person to chat with, its her home so there is no waiting in a salon for a hair dresser that is running late as she is always on time. Also you are the only one there so its nice and peaceful. You don't have to dress up, you can make an appointment time that suits you, she is very flexible during the week and on weekends. Her price is excellent and she is quick so no sitting around for hours when you have better things to do either. Love this hair dresser!

Took my 7 month old baby to see Hilton the Osteopath at this centre. He was extremely thorough, we spent an hour with him talking about my sons birth, diet, sleep patterns, digestive system, reactions to foods etc. He then gently went over his body to massaging certain point to balance his system, this took approximately half an hour. Hilton was very gentle and explained everything he was doing and why.
The following day my baby went from being a 40 minute cat napper during the day to having 2 good 2 hour sleeps in the day and then sleeping for 7 hours straight that night and going straight back down again until 5.30am when he had been unsettled after his night feed and was also waking at 4.30am. I am very impressed as this was after just one treatment. He also wasn't the hard sell type trying to get me to go back for another appointment in a few days time like a lot of other natural therapists, he said to see how my son went and to come back in a month if he was good but if his unsettled pattern continued to come back sooner. He is a lovely guy with a lot of knowledge. The centre itself is peaceful, smells wonderful with essential oils burning and the other staff I came across were very helpful and friendly.

This review is for Zupps Capalaba Service Centre, Capalaba QLD

First took our vehicle to Zupps for a warranty repair as the fuel gauge wasn't working. We then took it for a major service of the diesel injectors as it was running a bit rough. During this service they advised us that the water pump and something to do with the timing lift arm were looking as though they were on their way out and that they would replace them under warranty. The vehicle only has 5000km left on the warranty and we saw no signs of these two items being worn so they could have just left them but they went out of their way to find things on our vehicle that needed replacing under warranty rather than waiting for the warranty to run out and us have to bear the cost then.
Also I have two children in car seats, they dropped me back home and then picked me up in the afternoon in my own vehicle as I couldn't use their courtesy vehicle due to the baby seats, they offered to do this and I really appreciated it as it was a hassle for my partner to get home from work early. They contacted us through the service to advise of any issues.
The staff are very friendly, honest and helpful. We had never had our vehicle serviced there before but will continue to have it serviced there due to the fantastic service we have had despite them no longer being a Mitsubishi dealer. We have a Mitsubishi Pajero. Would recommend them to anyone.

NEVER EVER AGAIN! FALSELY ADVERTISES THAT THEY ARE AIPP QUALIFIED WHEN THEY ARE NOT. Having used Morffew in Sydney and Katrina Christ, Brisbane I was disgusted with this photographer. Photos of our newborn baby and toddler were taken in April and it took until September to get our photos. I paid for digital images, after 6 discs, yes that's right it took 6 discs. The 1st disc was only edited with blurred edges - I can do this on my Mac. The 2nd was completely unedited, the 3rd partially edited, the 4th were low resolution and couldn't even be printed in wallet size, the 5th was a disc with 72 images - we only chose 16 shots but it was every single version since disc 1 and an instruction for me to go through them and work out what was what - I thought this was what I had paid a so called professional photographer to do! The 6th disc had 16 shots we had paid for but some were still not high resolution as we had paid for. Never once did I receive an apology and it was the business owner that I dealt with the entire time.
After making a complaint to AIPP - Australian Institute of Professional Photography I found out that this photographer was not a member as she had advertised on her website, my only option was to go through Consumer Affairs.
They then didn't respond to emails or phone calls, disgusting customer service and I will make it my mission to tell everyone I know how terrible my experience was and how they fraudulently advertised that they were AIPP and had won multi silver awards when they had not.
As for the photos - it was the business owner that took the photos, the camera was not a continuous shot camera, it took one photo at a time whereas I have been used to a round of photos at a time so you capture the best look, it appeared that she was inexperienced with photographing babies, the photos are quite distasteful with genitals showing, other photographers disguise this with moving babies legs or general positioning of the baby, I have beautiful photos of my 3 year old as a newborn and its a shame I don't have the same for my 7 month old. We have now missed this opportunity forever. I wish now I had gone to Luisa Dunn Photography at Sumner Park, she takes beautiful photos of newborns and I didn't because she quite a distance from where I live, I will now be having future photos which I have done yearly with her.
Lesson learnt, if someone states their qualification or membership, check with the organisation that provides this qualification to ensure they are telling the truth. Also never ever pay for anything in full until you see the finished product. The business owner was very friendly to the point of being gushy until the first problem arose and then didn't want to know about me and was extremely uncooperative and difficult to deal with.
This has been an extremely disappointing, frustrating, upsetting and expensive exercise.
