My friends and I shared two fiestas (pork and beef) and a bowl of nachos between the four of us for dinner. The food was delicious, but for some reason each fiesta meal was served with only five small tortillas (despite being advertised as a meal to share between two people), so we ended up with lots of excess filling to eat without the tortillas. Service was great. There's a lovely courtyard out the back of the restaurant full of greenery, colour, and fairy lights - perfect for dinner and drinks on a summer evening.

The coffee here is average, but it's nice to get a complimentary Lindor ball with your order. I was disappointed to learn that they only accept coffee loyalty cards for take-away orders and not for table service orders. I haven't really sampled the food menu, but the salted caramel macaroons are to die for!

I'll come here every now and then for a treat; however I was disappointed on my latest visit when I ordered an iced latte only to find that I was charged an extra $3 for a small scoop of ice-cream. I would normally order it without the ice-cream altogether, so it was frustrating to be given the option without having the surcharge explained by the staff member at checkout. I also had to return my first drink as they served it with sugar (which I had not asked for) and it was sickly sweet. They happily replaced it when I asked, though, and the service has been great on other occasions, so no real complaints on the whole.

This review is for Nutrition Bar, Richmond VIC

Even though it's only tiny, the Nutrition Bar is always abuzz with activity. Whilst I have yet to try their famous acai bowls, I can attest to the quality of their delicious smoothies, salads and protein balls. The cold drip coffee is also a winner. It's nice to know that whatever you may choose to order - even if it's a treat - has nutritional value. The bar is designed for people to drop in and grab their food/drinks to go, but there are a couple of tables available for customers who wish to linger. The products can be a little pricey so this is not somewhere I would visit regularly on my lunch break.

I went here for breakfast with some friends in the winter. The bright lights and interior boasted a warm, cozy dining experience; however the door was left open to invite customers in which unfortunately made it very difficult to escape the icy blasts of the wind. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered poached eggs and a coffee. Whilst my meal was lovely, I was disappointed by the quality of the coffee. It was not bad, but for a cafe that claims to have the "best coffee" in the area, I expected a much nicer brew.

This is my go to place for coffee in Chadstone Shopping Centre (and I've pretty much sampled the lot!). It's a small family-owned business and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The homemade granola is delish and full of the good stuff!

This review is for Werribee Open Range Zoo, Werribee VIC

This is a great place for kids. There are a lot of interactive features and play areas. For adults, the safari is excellent and an experience unique to this zoo. Apart from the safari, however, it only took around 30 minutes to make our way around the rest of the zoo (at a leisurely pace) leaving us feeling quite underwhelmed.

I went with a group of adult friends and we had a great time. We only booked for a 1 hour session but it was plenty of time. We spent the majority of our time playing dodgeball which was super competitive, heaps of fun, and a pretty good workout! I was only left disappointed by the service after a friend injured herself in the first 2 minutes of the session and they wouldn't refund her booking (or let her exchange it for a booking at a later date). Instead, they offered her two discount vouchers for future visits which weren't of any use to her with an injury.

This review is for Robinsons Bookshop, Chadstone VIC

A great range of books for young and old. Robinson's Bookshop stocks both mainstream products and some more niche publications. The store setup and atmosphere is lovely; however the displays could be improved in the children's section. Storytime sessions are offered in-store at certain times for young ones. Will order in stock happily with no obligation to purchase. Some items are overpriced and I have yet to see anything on sale during any of my visits. A membership rewards program is available but only worthwhile with multiple purchases.

This review is for The Tea Salon, Melbourne VIC

I always order a soy chai tea and it is amazing every time. It is served in a pot which will make around 2-3 cups. The scones are nice too - I liked the date and orange. A little pricey but most specialty tea cafes are.
