We recently revisited the Duporth Tavern and were pleasantly suprised - they have made some changes to the front of the tavern making it a lot more inviting and family friendly. They have a good variety of different meals on the menu and they are generous portions and not overpriced. Great pub food.
I have tried Di Vita a couple of times for breakfast, the service is always friendly food is great and they usually have a couple of great specials - like the big brekky for half price with a drink purchase!
They also have some brunch options that don't include the usual fare of bacon and eggs. Savoury mince, brioche, or pancakes and the fantastic dish I tried today - mushrooms, haloumi, spinach with turkish bread and basil pesto, paired with a really good coffee.
Tried Piaf for mothers day breakfast, the menu if french, location is great and the service was prompt.
Food was good, I would have preferred a different dish but the menu stated that they didn't do changes to menu items so I just stuck to the basic bacon, eggs & sour dough.
The place in Noosa to drink great coffee and people watch. Has a bit of a European feel with all the chairs facing out onto Hastings st. Aromas offer an interesting menu with a variety of dishes. I tried the calamari salad for lunch which was fantastic.
Great local indian place, dishes are packed with meat not just all sauce and onion like a lot of places. Staff are friendly and look after you even if you are just waiting for take away. We tried the Bhuna chicken and one of the specials with a couple of types of naan bread, both dishes were fantastic and came with complimentary rice.
Approximate cost: $15
I recently tried this restaurant while staying in Ballina. They food was exceptional and they service was very friendly. I tried the seafood grill which I would definitely recommend.
Approximate cost: $30-$35
Tried cafe Conti for breakfast with a friend, great outdoor seating, lots of room for my pram, fast & friendly service. I tried the vegetarian option which included mushrooms, spinach, capsicum, tomato, eggplant and haloumi with pesto on sourdough toast. Yum!
Great, location, interesting menu and very family friendly with an outdoor kids playground. We were there for lunch on a Sunday and the venue was closed from 3pm for a wedding, felt a little like we were being rushed through ordering etc as they were cutting the end of the lunch time and the start of the wedding function a bit close!
Located on busy Hastings St, lots of variety on the menu, not too pricey considering the location, great service. I tried the burger which was huge and delicious, my husband had the mafioso pizza which was also a very generous serving and quite tasty - a tad too much cheese though.
Decided to have fish and chips on the beach while staying in Noosa recently, Kabanas has a huge variety of fresh seafood, burgers, salads etc and are right on the beach front at hastings street. We got the fishermans basket (fish, scallop, prawn cutlets, calamari, crab bites & chips) with extra calamari. It was a huge delicious serving enjoyed on the beach rather than squeezed into one of the packed restaurants along hastings.
