This review is for Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa, Hepburn Springs VIC

It is advertised as a luxury 'thing' in travel magazines and websites... the price certainly indicated that it was 'luxury' as the entry to just the bathhouse cost $26 during the week and $39 during weekends per person ($83 per person on the weekend to include the Sanctuary). However, I found that the bathhouse itself felt more like a heated public pool. It is suppose to be mineral springs, but the smell of chlorine made it feel less of a natural spring and more of a swimming pool. The pools were also small, and if you had paid the extra dollars to go into the sanctuary, it's even smaller! So it actually wasn't that relaxing at all.
Perhaps a visit really early in the morning is better? I really don't know.
Having said that, we had a massage after our visit to the bathhouse and that was heavenly. The day spa section is completely different to the bathhouse, where we got to relax in a lounge area before the massage, and served with herbal tea after the massage. The service there was fantastic too.
Recommend to visit during off peak hours, otherwise, head straight to a treatment at the Day Spa area for a more pleasant visit.

The exterior caught my eyes first, being attracted to the way the building was designed just how photogenic the place was. So we decided to return for dinner.
There were a few booking for the night, but the staff were open to let us share tables and gave us the freedom to move when another table vacated.
There were plenty of affordable pizza options but the main meals on the blackboard were too tempting to pass, so I ordered the canelloni and my husband the duck leg with potatoes. The meals were absolutely fantastic. it would have been better to have more salad but the flavour was great and I couldn't get enough of it. The duck was especially tender and tasty.
Staff were friendly and attentive and the dining atmosphere really good. I would return again if I were in the area.

The tag line for this bakery is "making pastry for over 66 years". I would believe it. We had slices of poppy seed cake and chocolate cake and it was moist and yummy. There were also three different types of slices and some European style pastry. YUM.
It gets super busy though, so take it away and enjoy it elsewhere, as it gets a little stressful in the actual cafe.

This review is for Capri, Ballarat VIC

We had breakfast at Capri. My husband ordered the BELT and I ordered eggs on toast. The BELT was fantastic but my eggs on toast was a little disappointing. I guess, it was literally eggs on toast, but for $9.20 I expected at least a bit more flavours or herbs or maybe more toast!
We both had mocha and it wasn't the quality coffee we expected.
However, staff were all extremely friendly and the service was great.

Cairyn is a fantastic masseuse. Her bubbly and friendly nature means that you are instantly friends with her. The location is hard to find as it isn't signaged on the street but once you are there, you are in good hands.

A very professional service. Just not very relaxing because the location is in a gym and she does like to chat a bit! (Great for those of us who love a chat)

Prices are good too.

This review is for La Cocina Peruana, Randwick NSW

It seems to be a small family run restaurant and in true Peruvian style the staff can get a little flustered when busy, however, they are all friendly and willing to go that extra mile for you, just need to explain your needs clearly.
The food is great, but not the absolute best. I understand things will never taste exactly as they do in Peru! But it can still be slightly disappointing.
It is however, still a good representation of Peruvian cuisine, I just think the organisation and the service have room for improvement.

This review is for Sushi ZoriZo, Pyrmont NSW

I work in the Pyrmont area and came across the blackboard that advertises all sushi plates for $3.20! Being a sushi lover I couldn't resist, but I knew most of the time these offers don't bother with good sushi.

However I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the sushi on the train was excellent, and the range offered was great. I didn't have to choose from bland stuff but creative sushi rolls with great flavours! Not to mention, made fresh too.

The restaurant is right in the heart of Harris Street area which makes it easy to get to, and the interior is clean and welcoming. They get a little busy so service can be a bit of a let down, but that didn't bother me, as I was only there for the sushi.

They also have lots of hot food options too. For lunch they have a selection for $9.80, but the rest of the menu doesn't look too bad, with an average cost of $10-$25 for the main dishes. (So on average around $15 for a meal)

This review is for Zacharys Gourmet Pizza Bar, Noosa Heads QLD

The atmosphere was great, being right in the middle of Noosa Head's busy Hasting Street it had a great young vibe. Also family friend as I noticed many families brought their kids around.

Loved the pizzas. A large pizza was around $20-$25 and was sufficient for two and tasted delicious. We had Moroccan Lamb and it was great. There were so many other topping options I can't wait to go back for more.

The downside is that it is busy almost ALL THE TIME. We arrived early for dinner and by 6pm the place was packed. You would had to cram 4 people to a small table by then. Staff are nice though, despite being busy, which is always good. Don't forget to order the pizza!

Wow - the most expensive sushi train style cafe ever! The plates on the train starts at $4 each, that's the cheapest you get, and it goes up to $12.

The two of us, we had three plates of average cost plates ($7) then decided it might have been cheaper if we ordered main meals instead (noodles and rice) that were $14 each. Our bill came to a whooping $45 for just a casual lunch.

The quality of the food was not bad. I wouldn't call it culinary - but it is the ONLY quality sushi joint in Noosa Heads (the other being the take away big rolled food court style sushi that also isn't that good) so we had to bite the bullet when the craving hit!

This review is for Elements At Montville, Montville QLD

I loved this place and was so thrilled to find it! It was in the middle of no where and probably not even considered in Montville at all - it's on the road to Kondalilla falls on the street side.

We stopped wanting afternoon tea, and was treated to a beautiful Chai infused black tea and some awesome home baked cakes. The location was fantastic - the building is on the top of a hill so from the tea room you can look out to the valley and it is absolutely beautiful.
The cafe doubles up as a gift/boutique store so I got to browse all the beautiful giftware they had.

Staff were super friendly and engaging, and having tea and cake there was just so relaxing I highly recommend it.
