Great atmosphere. Hasn't changed a great deal since I was last there >10 years ago. Pancakes are fantastic, only ate desert ones: golden syrup and icecream and strawberries with icecream. Perfect place to go for desert on a cold wintry evening. Love the central fire heating the room. I wouldn't recommend the coffee to anyone- terrible! The marshmellow chocolate is only marginally better. So IF you were to go there just for a cozy desert would get a much higher grade!

If you are serious about coffee this is where you want to be. A coffee serving house- reminiscent of an italian coffee bar (seating is complimentary here though!). They roast and grind their own coffee and run coffee making lessons. Small selection of sides on hand- e.g. muffins. They make a great chai latte for those not coffee inclined and have decaf available too.

It is the whole experience whether it is the friendly staff, the lovely courtyard out the back (with a fairy garden my 4 year old friend excitedly tells me), the lovely meals- a new take on the same old same old breakfast menu or their fantastic pizzas, you really can't go wrong. Lovely coffee.

NO LONGER EXISTS: JULY 2010
We dropped in without a booking for pizza dinner. Food fired pizza's were great, not a thin based pizza, bit more doughy but toppings great and delicious. Very friendly but I think there was a problem with wait staff the night we went as our waiter apologised profusely for the wait and mentioned there was some staffing problem that night. The shared antipasto platter looked amazing.
We had garlic foccacia which was super yummy, a pizza and a salad. Nice selection of beers on hand- including some italian. The bluestone building is just gorgeous. some of the decorations were a bit tacky, and there is a flat screen TV in one of the dining rooms... so more a casual dining experience. Food great though.

We got our Bolwell Jolie scooter serviced here recently. for the 15000km service. Really happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone for a scooter service. Also had a shop cat George who greeted me as I came in the door! WOW!

We understood that this was a top notch traditional Italian style thin based pizza. We tried to get a table on a Saturday night and they were booked out so we ordered take away. Pizza was made fairly promptly, however very unhappy with the quality. Pizza base soggy, toppings nothing amazing. Have eaten many, many better pizzas. These pizzas tasted like a La Porchetta Pizza.... nothing special and a lot more expensive than La Porchetta.

This was a great in home pet care for my cat and Chickens provided by Nick - the carer. He did a wonderful job and in addition put out the rubbish, bought in the mail and watered the plants. Got great peace of mind as he even sent me a message to let me know how the cat was going.
