I have to admit something: I hope the owners or managers of this HJ's read this, because I secretly love Hungry Jack's but this store's the pits. Dirty and slow and not fun!

I've kept this review brief because complaining's the pits too; but it is important to know that the food is cold and the service is surly.

I love bing boy!
They make asian street food, apparently, although I'm sure the bings that you eat in asia would be a lot more diverse and less sanitised. But this strange, delicious wrap is so filling, tasty and cheap, that I've found myself repeatedly going out of my way to grab one when I'm on my way to work or busy shopping.

they have a wheat pancake exterior (sounds gross, but just like soft warm bread, and tastier than a thick pita bread) with a cooked egg (also surprisingly delicious), salad, generous serving of your choice of meat, and lovely sauces.

Try it out!

I am surprised to be saying this, but this store is great!

It's a cheapie jewellery store along the lines of diva etc. But their range is really good, with pieces for most age groups and tastes. If you are after something that's nice and stylish but is not exactly likely to be an heirloom, then this place is the best of its' kind.

A quick note: if you are environmentally conscious and prefer long lasting, durable items this place might not be for you. Otherwise, definitely worth a Christmas browse!

This review is for Miss Gladys Sym Choon, Adelaide SA

****I have to update this review. Since Miss Gladys Sim Choon have a terrible gift voucher policy, I can't stand by my previous 5 star rating.
I bought a gift voucher for my sister, and it had a 3 MONTH run out date. That is RIDICULOUS. The gift voucher ran out before my sister used it, so I wasted money and she missed out on a gift.

I won't be returning to Miss Gladys. ********

This store is amazing! The clothes are fantastic. They stock a super eclectic range and have a bargain shoes floor on level 3.

And by buying at Miss Glady's, you are supporting a locally owned business.

I do find some of the ground floor shoes a wee bit overpriced, but that is just the same as everywhere in Adelaide.

I am often surprised to find a gorgeous bargain in Miss Glady's and I've been buying from them since I was 15. This place is an icon.

This review is for Zu Shoes, Adelaide SA

Zu shoes are amazing! The buyers have a knack for buying on-trend, beautiful classics, as well as stocking some of the more outrageous styles (which I ignore!).
They also do half sizes, which makes them a mecca for me.

Zu shoes last well. I have two pairs in my wardrobe that I've had for one year and four years. Both are still pretty, sturdy and modern!

I've also bought many other styles that have been worn to death or gone out of fashion after much love.

I have bought shoes at other stores that just fall apart but Zu rarely disappoints.

Now for the bad bit: the staff at Rundle Mall are weird. They can be grumpy, super intimidating, act like they are doing you a favour by letting you try on their shoes, etc.

For a middle of the range, nice shoe store, their staff act like they wish they worked in couture. I notice they recently had some new, bubblier and friendlier additions, but the vibe is still awkward and annoying.

But it is DEFINITELY worth it for the gorgeous shoes.

Approximate cost: $60-180

This review is for Cafe Bravo, Adelaide SA

cafe bravo has it all, as long as you don't mind that they don't do table service!
they do italian classics with great attention to detail and they have added vegan and gluten free items (very important if you're dining with a large party, because allergies and preferences are common these days).

if it's busy don't expect lots of attention from staff, but the delicious, lovely food with big portions, the nice atmosphere and the quick turnaround makes it a great place to eat.

Approximate cost: $14-25

This review is for Hairhouse Warehouse, Adelaide SA

I'm sorry to say this. I am not making it up! I went in for a very light colour (strawberry blonde with a dash of light brown, ish. Hard to explain, but I had photos of what I wanted!) But I came out a horrendous dark brown. It was so bad I cried. I was too shocked and unhappy to ask them to re-do it, but had to have it bleached out to the lighter colour I wanted.

I emailed customer service and due to an error, they didn't get back to me. The man finally got back to me after weeks, then offered me free products to the cost of the original colour. But then as I was incredibly busy, it took me a little while to reply to him (which he had done in the first place too) and the offer evaporated.
It was the least fun I've ever had getting my hair done. Their customer service is terrible and slow and not attentive.
I stand by what I say: don't get your hair coloured here!
It's not worth the risk!

If I was actually describing this haircut and colour to a friend, I would be honest: I was disappointed.

The reason? The hairdresser didn't listen to me and my cut is a bit ugly. I hate my fringe. She was intent on thinning it out even though I actually like it that way! Nothing I said seemed to make sense to her. I understand clients are confusing! But clarification is important. I liked my fringe before and now I hate it.
The colour is nice but it is fading really fast.

But the service is nice, they tried their best, and they do give you a nice goody bag afterwards.

Approximate cost: $170
