Marianna of Malos is a hairdressing institution, having operated for decades behind a menswear shop on the corner of Swanston & Little Bourke. The closure of the menswear shop has forced her move to Hardware Lane, but she's still the most competent, entertaining and CHEAP cutter in Melbourne - for men at least. She does women too, but finds men less demanding - and since I'm a man that's the only service I can review!

I'd only go there if my car needed a wash and I was hungry, but if that's the case this place is peerless. And for those craving some downhome diner cuisine, or who live close by, this is a perfect choice.
