Ripples is a great local chinese restaurant. The roast meats, particularly the roast duck are outstanding, and they do a good daily yum cha. However, the decor is a bit tired, and it can get quite noisy. The service is very efficient, and they are very child tolerant. The prices are very fair.
Porteous Constructions concreters installed an exposed aggregate driveway at my home. Glen the concreter was fantastic-reliable, pleasant and highly competent. They did a great job, and at a very reasonably price.

Functional decor fitted and made our curtains and roman blinds. The interior decorator, Judy gave us fantastic advice as far as choice of fabric, and type of window dressing. She also took our budget into account, which was appreciated. The quote was very reasonable, and the quality excellent. However, I would recommend making sure that everything that is discussed is put in writing by Judy to avoid any misunderstandings or memory lapses!
Ace of shades fitted a motorized folding arm awning and installed internal blinds to our home. We chose them not only because they gave us the cheapest quote, but also at the time of quoting impressed us with their professionalism. We were very pleased with the awning and blinds, and their follow up service has been exceptional. They have always been prompt, helpful and courteous.

Cafe La Via is spacious, family orientated and casual with a large menu that has something for everyone. The service is generally friendly and efficient. The food quality ranges from very good (gourmet pizzas) to average (burger). The serves are generous and there is a well priced children's menu.
Hooked is a fish and chip shop with a difference. It offers restaurant quality meals with several healthy options, plated on proper crockery, but at fast food prices. The ambience is basic but stylish, with a large communal table and a couple of small tables inside, and a few outside tables. The service is always friendly and helpful. The grilled fish of the day with sambal is delicious, and the salad is generous and fresh. The lunch special is fantastic value.

This restaurant has an authentic French feel to it-all the waiting staff have heavy French accents! I have only ordered steak as I enjoyed it so much the first time, I can't resist ordering it again and again! It is of beautiful quality and has a lovely char grilled flavor. I have tried a number of desserts and they have been delicious. The ambiance is not up to the standard of the food, with a the room being a bit dark and appearing somewhat poorly maintained. The staff are pleasant, although not always that knowledgable. The lunch special represents quite good value.
The ambience may be a bit basic and the room rather dark but the food is consistently tasty and portions generous and it comes out fast! All main courses come with a selection of little dishes, which are usually nice. Korean food is generally very enjoyable, with the flavor of the marinated cabbage (kimchi) being a bit of an aquired taste. The service is efficient and pleasant.

The lucky coq serves fabulous gourmet pizzas in a trendy environment-nothing original about that, but what is unique is the value for money. A pizza that other places would charge up to $20 for you can enjoy for $4! This deal is available for weekday lunch and all day on Sunday. Even at other times the most expensive pizza is around $9. The service is efficient, but its pretty much help yourself, but who cares at that price!
