Mum and I chose a busy Saturday to stop by here for lunch.
The service was a little bit slow but the meal was nice when it arrived. We had the Chicken Schnitzel with chips and salad. Friendly service and the meal tasted pretty good.
We were entertained with a concert from members of the public - songs from the fifties and sixties. Some were good and others left a bit to be desired but all fun.
We ordered coffee which was lovely but the cake that came with it, was quite dry and the cream on the side was definitely off. Not impressed there.
The café has a gift shop attached and while it all seemed a bit expensive for my taste, it was nice to see what was on offer.
7.5/10. We would go back.

Have had a main meal of fish and chips here during the week and also a full breakfast on a Sunday - not horrible by any means but certainly not anything to rave over either.

The Milkshake was good and so was the coffee. Be inclined to go here in the future for a morning tea , rather than a main meal. Maybe 6.5/10.

The restaurant itself feels very warm and inviting, with beautiful décor. A great start!

We chose the Crispy Chicken for entrée, Butter Chicken for the mains and a wonderfully tasty Lassi for desert.

The service was good and all the food was superb. Couldn't find fault with the serving sizes or the quality.

Highly Recommend - 9/10.

Service was quick and friendly.
The Groupon Voucher I had cost me $29 and gave us our choice of 2 entrees (Chicken Dim Sims) + an Entrée to share (Honey Chicken), 2 small mains (we had both as Fried Rice), 2 large mains (1 Beef and BB sauce & noodles and a KT Box, which was noodles, prawn etc with a sweet soy sauce) and a bottle of drink. Certainly, value for money - would normally have been double that.

The food was lovely - tasty and hot - but it was nothing special. Recommend if you live locally but as we live 10km away and would now have to pay the full price, it's not worth the extra driving time .... 7.5/10.

This was our 2nd visit here and the menu states that it's under New Management.

We had a 'Living Social' voucher, which was for the Beef Fajita's for 2 people. It was tender Steak with onions, capsicum and a medium heat sauce, served on a sizzling platter.

This was accompanied with small pots of grated cheese, sour cream, Tomato Salsa, guacamole and a hot sauce. We ran out of cheese and sour cream and when asked, they gladly topped both of them up, at no extra charge.

Wrap it all in a flour tortilla and it was superb!
with Four tortilla's each, we nearly reached our capacity.

However, there was just enough room to squeeze in the Frozen Rock vanilla Ice cream, which came with, Peanut M & M's, 3 freckles, a sliced strawberry, ...... plus caramel and strawberry toppings. Delicious!

Definitely worth a 2nd visit. Recommend.

Bought a voucher from "Deals.com.au", that entitled 2 people to a coffee each plus a choice of Omelette, Croissant or a 2 pancake stack.

Took my Mum there for lunch yesterday and I have to say, that we were both disappointed. We decided on the mushroom omelette, which took 20 minutes to get to us, despite there only being 3 other customers in the shop.

When it finally arrived, it was small in size and sitting on one half of the plate. There was no toast or any type of garnish. Just a bland, thin looking omelette. It was hot and quite tasty, so points for that but the presentation was very unappealing.

We were still hungry, so ordered the 2 pancake stack to share and paid the extra. It was quite nice but we thought it was expensive for what we got. The coffee was fairly hot and tasted good. Service was slow but friendly.

It was a very cold, windy day and obviously something wrong with the front door because it kept blowing open - the owner had to keep putting a lounge chair in front of it - then move it to let people in. Perhaps fixing the problem would have been a better solution?

The café is only a 2 minute stroll to the beach and has so much potential to be a great place with beautiful views. The owners just need to lift their game a bit. I wish them luck.

My friend and I visited here last night, for the 1st time.

The waitress was friendly and polite. Being that it was a Tuesday night and not quite 6pm, we were the only customers in there. (several other people came later).

The restaurant itself has a nice ambience to it - Nice music playing in the background, that wasn't too loud. Everything looks clean and new - I believe it has only been open for about a year. Situated in a group of shops on Glynburn Road, it has convenient parking as well.

I chose the Sizzling Steak in a Creamy Pepper Sauce and my friend had the Honey Chicken. We shared a large serve of fried rice between us. For drinks, I had a glass of pink Moscato and my friend had a LL and bitters.
The total bill was $67.00.

Everything was delicious. The steak was very tender, the rice was beautiful and the Honey Chicken, spot on!

The only negative, was that I thought it was a bit more pricey than other Asian restaurants that we had been too. Only by a few dollars mind you and because it was all so delicious, it was worth paying the extra.

We will definitely be returning - Recommend.

Approximate cost: $67

Have been here with my Mum several times for Saturday lunch and have always been happy with the service and the food.

On previous visits, we have had the omelette with ham and also a burger with the lot, plus coffee and a muffin. Everything has been fresh and delicious.

Our most recent visit was last Saturday, when we had a Hot Dog with cheese, bacon and onion + a serve of chips and a soft drink. It was part of a voucher deal, at a cost of $15 for the 2 of us. VERY good value.

The hotdog was served in a crusty roll rather than the traditional soft bun and was excellent. The chips were cooked just right and piping hot.

As usual, the coffee was superb and good service made the meal complete. Highly recommend - 8.5/10!

My friend and I didn't have a good experience here last year but thought we'd go back to give it another try.
Sadly, we were disappointed again.

We decided to avoid the steak after the last disaster and ordered the "famous" beef skewer instead.

For the price of $28, I got 1 skewer (5 cubes of beef, with onion and capsicum), a small salad and some chips.
As with the steak, I asked for it to be well done with no pink at all.

Out of the 5 cubes of beef, I could only eat 2 of them - the other 3 were partially raw, with blood dripping out of them.

Complained about it but they wouldn't refund . Did offer a free coffee but we declined that as we've had their coffee before and didn't like it.
A partial refund would have been much better received.

After 2 chances, we've decided not to go back anymore. The staff have always been lovely but the cook needs to have lessons. Not recommended.

I have utilised Dan Murphy's "Click and Collect" service a few times now and am very happy with it.

It enables you the convenience of shopping online, with the bonus of having them pack the goods for you.

There is no time wasted wandering around the store trying to find things and best of all, it's a free service! Combine that with their lower prices and you've got yourself a winner.

They then notify you that your order is ready by sending you a text message. (This happens within a 2 hour time frame, provided you don't need anything chilled).

Once I got to the store, they had my order already packed into a trolley for me and each time (in my case anyway), they have actually wheeled it to my car and packed it into the boot. Very helpful!

Highly recommend for low prices and good service.
