Mum and I had lunch here and were very impressed with the quality of the food.
We used a voucher, which gave us an entrée and a main meal each, plus a glass of wine - for $29.
It had some exclusions but you could choose from 98% of the menu, so we were happy.
However, rice wasn't included, so we paid the extra $2.50 to get a serving for 2 - which was just enough.
We both had the satay chicken skewers as a starter, followed by a mild Teriyaki dish with cashew nuts - I chose the beef and Mum had the chicken. Neither of us wanted the wine, so they were quite happy to give us a Lemon, Lime & Bitters instead. The food was hot, quickly served and very tasty. Service was with a smile.
We would certainly be happy to make a return visit.

I have driven past this restaurant for many years and finally decided to check it out - Very glad I did.
My partner and I enjoyed a mini banquet, courtesy of a Cudo Voucher.
There were prawn crackers to start. Followed by Prawn Toasts, with piping hot chicken and sweetcorn soup.
A limited choice of main meals, as stated on the voucher - we decided on the Mongolian Beef plus the Beef and Cashews, which was served with a plate of fried rice.
Desert was ice cream, with peanuts and topping. Plus we each had a house wine.
The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the service was friendly.
Highly recommend - we will definitely be returning soon - 8.5/10!!

We have eaten in the Restaurant a few times over the years and it has got progressively worse.
For Mothers Day last year (2014), we decided on the take away packs, to have at home.
We had 4 different pasta meals and they were ALL undercooked, dry and almost without any flavour.
Very disappointing! My brother actually spoke to the manager on the phone to complain and was told to bring it back for a refund. The distance we had to travel to get it back there, didn't make that worthwhile.
We have visited the one on Henley Beach Road many times and have always had good meals, so it obviously depends on which one you go to.
Rest assured, we won't be returning the Brighton Franchise ever again!!!

My partner and I went to this café at lunchtime on a Sunday.
We chose to sit outside in the 'closed in' area, as it was much quieter than inside. (Wooden floors that increase the sound of people taking).
We had the full breakfast - Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, Tomato, Mushrooms and Toast, with Coffee and Orange Juice.
The coffee had a nice taste but was only tepid!
The food wasn't too bad - not very hot though and my overcooked sausage was cold in the middle - maybe pre cooked and thrown in the pan to heat through? Disappointing!
The service was friendly and quick though, so full marks for that.
Average quality food but I wouldn't rush back.

Visited for a Saturday lunch, using a Scoopon deal.
We shared a bruschetta for entrée, which was tasty but not very hot.
For our mains, we chose the Schnitzel Parmigiana - 1 chicken and 1 beef - both served with lovely hot chips and a small salad. A generous serve and presented to us before we had a chance to finish our entrée.
Certainly quick service but maybe a little too quick, if that's possible.
We came back for a coffee later but it was only lukewarm and had a "metallic" taste to it. Didn't like it much.
Nothing was horrible but nothing was outstandingly good either - 7/10

Using a voucher, we were entitled to a 3 course meal + wine.
Entrée was a Trio of Dips (Beetroot, Sundried Tomato & Tzatziki), with warm toasted pita bread to share.
It was so delicious, there wasn't a crumb left on the plate!
The mains offered a choice of Pizza, Pasta, Salad or Risotto.
We both decided on the Thai Chicken Pizza, which was very tasty.
...
Desert was a scoop of Gelato - any flavour we chose.
It is hand made on the premises and was an absolute delight.
A very refreshing way to finish the meal.
We just managed to squeeze in a mug of flat white coffee, before we "rolled" home.
Piping hot and beautifully smooth to drink.
The service was friendly and reasonably quick.
Would definitely be happy to go back again - 8/10!

My partner and I visited here back in February last year, using a "Living Social Voucher". We really loved the food, so when another voucher came up ,I bought one.
Pleased to report that the service was still quick and friendly, even with the restaurant being about 90% full.
We both had the satay prawns on a skewer for our entrée. The mains were Sizzling Peppered Steak and Sizzling Mongolian Beef, with side dishes of Fried rice and Mixed Vegetables. All of which was superb!
The fried ice cream for desert was a lovely light way to end the meal.
We purchased our own bottle of wine and I even bought some Fried Rice and Mixed vegetables to take home with us - intending to use them as part of our next nights dinner.
There wasn't one thing to complain about - ALL GOOD!! 10/10

We used a "Scoopon" Voucher, that entitled us to our own entrée, soup and desert, with 3 main meals to share, plus a glass of wine each.
Entree's we chose were the Chicken and Beef satays, with a beautiful spicy sauce that had plenty of flavour.
The Chicken and Sweetcorn soup was nice and hot.
For our mains, we picked Chicken and Cashew Nuts, Pork with Plum Sauce and Beef in Singapore Sauce.
All of them were hot and very tasty.
The desert was called Mango Pudding - It was a jelly with Mango pieces in it, covered with a coconut cream.
I'm not a big mango or coconut fan but really enjoyed it!
The service was fairly quick and the staff friendly.
The only thing I found a little strange, was that none of the meals came with any rice - we purchased a bowl separately, that cost an extra $4. No problems.
A really enjoyable night. If we didn't live so faraway, we would definitely go there again.... 8/10!

This review is for Napoli Pizza House, Mile End SA

Napoli's used to be a regular haunt of mine, many years ago. Perfect stop on the way home from a late shift - something for supper and the rest for the next days lunch. Always delicious.
I moved out of the area 9 years ago, so thought we'd get a Groupon Voucher and revisit them, to see if everything was still up to the same high standard. Pleased to say it is.
The Voucher entitled us to a 12" pizza (anything from the menu) and a glass of wine.
My partner chose the Americana, which he thought had a great flavour and he really liked the thinner style base.
I had the "The Lot" and we both asked for some prawns as an extra - he said there'd be a charge of $3 per meal.
I expected to see a few small prawns scattered across the top. Instead, I was very pleasantly surprised to see it came with 8 good sized Prawns and tasted fantastic. Well worth the extra money!!
A Nice night, with friendly service and fantastic food - 9/10. We will be back

This review is for Tonsley Hotel, Clovelly Park SA

Been here many times as it's the closest hotel to where we live but the food has always been good too.
With that in mind, when the topic of a venue for our Work Christmas Dinner came up, The Tonsley was first choice!
We had our Work Christmas Function (Nov 2014), in the Hamilton Room, shared with some other unknown diners.
Nikki (functions manager), was a joy to deal with over the preceding 2 months. Always helpful, pleasant and kept in touch via email and phone. She was also there on the night and checked in on us, to make sure all was okay. Thank you.

The table was beautifully decorated with tinsel, gift boxes, red and green napkins and a Santa in the middle.
The food was very good - we had the $50 dinner which was 3 courses - 2 choices with the entrees and Deserts and 3 choices with the main meal.
The Poached Tiger Prawns with mango dressing for entrée, were just divine.
My choice for the main meal was the Atlantic Salmon with basil aioli - perfectly presented on a salad. Just delicious.
My partner chose the Crispy Skinned Chicken - he said it tasted great but was ruined when he got to the centre of it and found it wasn't cooked properly - the blood was near the bone but parts of the actual meat was still quite red as well.
Desert was very difficult to decide on, as they both sounded so good - so we chose one of each and shared.
Neither of us was disappointed - The pavlova was light and had a 'touch of tart' with the berries.
The mouse was more like an ice cream, with a fairy floss topping - very smooth, not overly sweet and extremely 'moreish'.
The service was pretty good - always friendly and fairly quick.
With the exception of the partly raw chicken dish, it was a great night ... 9/10!
We will definitely be back and continue to count it as our local favourite!
