Unlike other reviewers, I quite like Ambassadors. Although the decor is very 1980s (fits well with the area), I quite like it for the nostalgic feel it has. The food is tasty - love the mango chicken - and is comparable with other local Chinese restaurants in the Vic Park area. Owners are friendly and I have not had reason to fault the service in all the times I had dined in and taken away!
When I found out that I was going to be taken to a deli for dinner by my dh, I had my reservations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of the deli (which is also more of a lunch bar). It has a real country town feel to it, which I really liked. The burger I ordered was absolutely delicious, on par with some of the burgers you can buy from a fancy burger joint.
We went here for the buffet on a Friday night. The curries were delicious, the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and the waiters were courteous and prompt. Really enjoyed my experience.
I was looking for a specific type of product (adhesive magnetic strips) and had searched high and low through specialty craft stores. Riot Art & Craft at first glance doesn't seem to look like it has the goods (has a childish feel to its store front) but inside there is a plethora of crafty goods. Very impressed and will go back again for my craft needs.
Ally Fashion gives you access to high fashion clothing at extremely reasonable prices. I like the clothes they sell and especially like the bill on my card at the end.
Approximate cost: $15 - $50
A friend had been telling me about La Senza after returning from overseas, so imagine my delight when I not only heard about a store opening locally, but also that I could sign up for a loyalty card with a special bonus (since ended). Although the first time I visited the store I found the assistants to be a little pushy and "too helpful" this did not deter me from making a purchase. Good quality underwear for the price they are asking.
Have frequented all the Little Caesar's pizzerias in Perth and must say that the one in Leederville ticks the most boxes. Although busy on the night that we went, the staff were attentive and so the wait didn't feel a hassle. We were still able to find a seat, a change from the Mundaring store. My friend ordered a pasta dish, which they mismade, and so they gave it to us as a complimentary dish whilst they corrected the order. All this on top of a great, decently priced woodfired pizza. Bellisima!!
I have been looking for a new bed for quite a while and have had my eye on Bedroom Gallery for their specials. Recently they had an absolutely unbeatable price which I had to have. Free local delivery (which surprisingly means from Rockingham to Joondalup!) sealed the deal. The staff have been nothing but friendly as I go to pay off my layby.
I was craving a burger and so checked out the local burger joints on urbanspoon.com. Rest assured, I was not disappointed by V Burger. Bought a Classic V - I especially like that they use Turkish bread for their burgers as it means it doesn't get soggy as quickly. Fresh ingredients, the only downside is the location, as it gets quite busy and the centre is quite a congested area.
The reason I go to this Subway over the two others in my proximity is that they offer the Fit Chips meal deal. Quite a busy store, so you know they'll need to keep things fresh. Have not been disappointed by any meals bought from this place.
