Surprising Thai place in Mooroolbark. Good food, although a little pricey compared to others. Not the best Tahi that I have had, but a good take-away place in a town with too many Chinese restaurants and not enough variety!
Great little (!! really little!!) shop located in the Vermont South Shopping Centre. $25 for a manicure and $15 for toe file and paint is pretty good value. A good range of colours and nice service.
Pretty standard place to get keys cut. Service was good and the key involved works perfectly! Located in the Vermont South Shopping Centre, so is very convenient when going shopping at the various small businesses there.
Great little coffee shop located in the Vermont South Shopping Centre. They make a great coffee and have a pretty good variety of cakes. They also have a range of English lollies.
The best Chinese restaurant in Mooroolbark. There are 3 or 4 located here, but this one is the best. Their take away service is great and you often receive a free meal with your order (not just free prawn crackers), be it soup or even an entire main meal!!! As well as pickup, you can also have the food delivered. I have never had a bad meal from this restaurant.
A great Vietnamese restaurant. There are a plethora of great Asian restaurants in Box Hill and this is one of the best!l The food quality is exceptional and it is incredibly reasonably priced. It is a noisy restaurant, but the food makes up for the, at times, loud atmosphere. Staff are pretty blunt, but who cares when the food is so damn good and cheap!
A bucket of prawns!!! Has there ever been a better idea than a bucket of prawns?? Unfortunately, we found this gem of a place on our last day in Port Douglas. However, if we had found it beforehand, we would have eaten there every lunchtime. A great view across to the beach and on a quiet road. Fantastic little place!
A good range of treatments and friendly staff. Not exceptional in any way, but the facial and massage that I received whilst on holiday were very nice. The rooms need a little more soundproofing (rather than louder music), but a nice place to relax.
A cake decorating and bread mix selling shop. They have a good range of stock and staff are helpful. However, the location is a little difficult to find. It is located on a service road on Warrrigal Road. The building is pink, so that does help.
A good massage therapist. Similar types of massage places seem to be popping up in shopping centres. Given the size of the Stockland Shopping Centre, I'm surprised that there is enough business for them to survive. It is a nicely fitted out shop and the massage was great. Service is as expected.
