I recently purchased an assortment of cocktail pies, pasties, sausage rolls and quiches for our daughters Baptismal celebrations. The pasties were amazing and went down well with all our lunch time guests. The staff were friendly and provided me with assistance in getting my order to my car. The pastries were reasonably priced.
The day I placed my order I had a latte and a Kitchener bun, which were lovely. The Kitchener bun brought back fond memories of when I used to have them as a child. The latte was pleasant on the palette.
I recently purchased a jam and cream sponge cake for my fathers birthday celebration. The cake was lovely and moist and fresh. The staff were friendly. The only downside is that their is no EFTPOS facility.
Well laid out green grocer. Produce is top notch. the carrots are the best tasting ones in my local area. Staff are friendly. One of the cashiers always gives my 2 year old an additional copy if my receipt to make her feel special. Whenever I visit Castle Plaza I always head to this green grocer as their reduce is far superior to that of the supermarkets.
Friendly staff. Meat is of a high quality and reasonably priced. Their premium mince is lovely, as are their lamb cutlets. It is never too much trouble to bag my mince or casseroling meat in 500 gram lots.
This is the bet pizza in Aberfoyle Park and so reasonably priced. My husband and I have purchased pizza from this place several times over the past year. The bases are nice and thin and crisp. The toppings are generous and the menu is reasonably priced. Delivery is available, but we just phone our order in and pick it up around 20-25 minutes after placing our order. They have other items on their menu including pasta and schnitzel, but we have yet to try these options. You can also dine in. Will definitely use again when ext ordering pizza.
I took my 2 and a half year old and 3 month old to the play cafe. My toddler had a ball. The milkshake and croissant were good and reasonably priced. The table area was clean. The centre is also breast feeding friendly. Will definitely head there again the future when the weather is poor.
Upon arrival we were promptly given menus. The waitress was friendly and accommodating as 2 of our party were running late. It was quite a busy Sunday afternoon and hence it was noisy and was difficult to hear parts of the conversation being had on our table, as the noise seemed to reverberate around the dining area.
For starters our group shared the trio of dips. The dips were very flavoursome and the tomato one was amazing. Next we shared two pizzas amongst the table. Both the Americano and speciale pizza were delicious, but a little on the pricey side for the amount of topping on the pizza. Drink prices were reasonable and comparable to most similar places within the North Adelaide area.
My husband and I recently had lunch at Oscars to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We shared the trio of dips for an entree, which was so yummy that I was left wanting more. For main course I had the lasagne which was delicious, whilst my husband enjoyed the Penne. Another lovely touch is that they have many of the local wines on their wine list.
I recently purchased flowers for my mother during a recent hospitalisation. The lady that served me was lovely and made my arrangement up on the spot. The flowers were fresh and lasted 10 days.
Approximate cost: $60
We recently ordered a cake for our daughter's Baptism to feed 50 guests. The experience from beginning to end was fantastic. We were greeted by James and made to feel welcome and comfortable. We were given gentle assistance and guidance in choosing a design that we both liked.
The best bit of the experience was getting to taste the variety of flavours on offer. The hardest bit was choosing the cake flavour as all the flavours that we tried were amazing!
Upon collection of the cake we were again greeted by another friendly staff member. The cake was well packaged for transport. The cake was consumed the following day and many of our guests complimented us on the cake.
