A few years ago when there were Greek owners, I would have considered this place the best chips, potato cakes and dim sims, that I tasted. I used to love getting fish and chips from here.

However, it seems that this was taken over by newish owners, who although friendly, struggled to fulfill orders correctly. However, the last time I was there the potato cakes and dim sims were a bit over cooked and left out for too long.

They still seem to be using the same good quality dim sims and potato cakes as the previous owners. However, they just don't seem to cook it as well. It still presents good value overall though.

Takeaway chicken shop that does fish and chips and also has lamb.
They have a wide selection of items on their menu. Including hamburgers, dim sims etc.

Their chips are dim sims are fairly averae tasting. The dim sims seem to be overly oily and don't taste that great.

The lamb souvlakis are probably the main thing that I prefer to purchase from here.

Have eaten here mostly around lunch time. The staff there are friendly and respectful.

Chicken is reasonably decently cooked. I think their chips are pretty great. They are heavily salted with chicken salt, so this comes down to taste. It may be a bit too strongly salted for some.

Their burger combos are decently sized for the price. Salads are average.

Their chicken rolls in glad wrap seem to be a bit soggy and oily.

This place is small. The times i've been in there, the Slurpee machines are either out of order, unfrozen, or they are out of Slurpee cups..

Once I bought a sausage roll and pie from there. When I went to grab a soft drink, I noticed that somehow he had ripped the sausage roll bag and had part of it in his hands as he was trying to hide it in the bag...I wasnt too happy about that.

Have been buying from Catchoftheday quite a lot. Usually some good bargains can be found if you can handle the temptation of checking whats up for grabs. Some bargains are better than others, so its usually better to have a need for an item before impusively buying something...

The SOS subscriber emails are handy as they show a separate bargain.

A few gripes though. Delivery is pretty expensive, and usually paid per item, unless there is a special shippinjg cap assigned. They don't really do anything to reward their consistently purchasing customers.

Occasionally they advertise for special occasions where they put a few items for a crazy price, at which point their server completely dies, because everyone is trying frantically to buy stuff.. but leads to very few people grabbing the bargain.. IT can leave you totally frustrated and feeling like you just wasted a few hours of your life...

Have purchased parts from here. They will take the time to discuss your needs and provide advice. However the parts can usually be sourced elsewhere for cheaper. However, when one needs to return a faulty item, there are usually no issues.

Their website is also fairly comprehensive and usually is helpful for researching information on parts.

Purchased multiple parts from here. Its generally a long wait and a hit and miss affair in regards to stock levels. Basically you need to have already done your research, and know exactly which parts you want. Then also plan back up parts in case parts are out of stock.

All in all their prices are extremely low. However its only when things go wrong where things might unravel. MSY is usually better suited for people who know exactly what they want, but also have the ability to do self diagnosis on hardware faults.

I've watched this place slide from reasonable service to some of the worst i've ever seen.

On one hand they are open on sundays, spacious in viewing room size, both good things..

However, unexpectedly long wait times and poor warranty support sour the experience. Returning a motherboard 2 weeks after purchase takes several months to come back because they need to Asus.

Somehow after 6 months of hearing Asus still has it or we haven't received it back yet.. etc..It came to a point where they said theyd call when they received it. That call never came. I come back to hear, its been 6 months and they no longer have it...This totally confused me.. I never received my motherobard back and decided to cut my losses and not go back....

Until.. someone at work decides to buy a whole system there. We have it delivered and he had already paid for it in advance. Because he ordered with stuff that was on backorder, by the time it was delivered, it no longer was eligible for DOA...guess what, the machine didn't turn on.. Yes it was another faulty motherboard...

From a business standpoint avoid these guys at all costs.. they have no form of SLA whatsoever in regards to their service or warranty. They sell you a system touting a warranty, only to have the complete system sit in their office for months to get a replacement motherboard...

I have heard absolutely arrogant and condescending remarks about the previous customer from staff as the customer is walking out of the door. Although they have prices that are similar in nature to MSY, CPL treat their customers in such a blase way that I won't voluntarily be returning there ever again. (There are viable alternatives to this store on weekends too)

This review is for Hungry Jacks, Burwood VIC

This is fairly standard like most other hungry jacks.

However, the key difference is whether you visit during hectic lunch hours. (due to uni student influx).. Problem is this is when you actually need to eat.

If you visit during peak times, they have a habit here of lining up rows of cokes and sundaes or storms in advance. (due to stunner meal promotions).
They put the sundaes in the storage fridge next to the bottled water...

The end result is warm coke with a partially melted sundae or storm.

In all fairness they do a good job of churning through the people when its extremely busy and do keep the place reasonably clean considering the high turnover.

Outside of busy hours they are fine.

Bought chicken from here twice. (only chicken, no chips, salad etc).
The first time the chicken was slightly undercooked but tasted ok.

The second time the chicken seemed very undercooked in certain areas. I had to further cook it at home to get it to an edible state.
This was extremely disappointing to me as I expected the place to provide chicken primarily.

I'm hoping the owners focus more on providing good tasting well cooked chicken. Their service level was ok but nothing out of the ordinary.

I can't see myself visiting this place again unless my other options for chicken dry up.
