I ordered a pumpkin and feta salad and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Lovely atmosphere sitting outside with friends. Can get very busy and noisy at peak times.

A great location for a few drinks with friends. Share a few pizzas, sitting outside watching people go past. The rooftop bar has lovely views and a great atmosphere.

This review is for Obsession Chinese Restaurant, South Brisbane QLD

I dined at Obsession at Southbank a few months back and was generally disappointed with the experience. I was shocked to discover that they didn't have chopsticks! It seemed that they were catering purely for the tourist market. I ordered the ginger scallops and they were under par, being a bit tough. Served nicely in their shells. Obsession has since undergone renovation but I haven't bothered to go back and try them again.

If we're going to the Southbank cinemas we always have a bite to eat at Ginga. Fresh tasty sushi train. Good selection. Always busy but I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes. They also do takeaway which is very handy.

This review is for Himalayan Cafe, Fortitude Valley QLD

I can never go past the tofu curry at the Himalayan Cafe. I'm not vegetarian, but this is the most delicious, silky dish. Their flatbread is made on the premises and is served with dipping sauce. Book ahead as it's always busy. There are lovely secluded rooms out the back where you sit on cushions. Being BYO make it a tasty and cheap night out.

This review is for Jeremy's, Brisbane QLD

Jeremy's has a lovely atmosphere and excellent coffee. It's my favourite city cafe, where I like to relax on the comfy lounge window seat and flip through the magazines they have on offer. Coffee's often come complete with 'latte art'. Love the red circular tiles and dark wood tones. Food is great too, with a good variety of smaller dishes, main meals and light snacks and sweets. Perfect for a solo coffee, with a couple of friends or a sophisticated (yet not overused) place to take a work client.

This place has a great mix of contemporary food and old-school pub atmosphere. Fantastic burgers, plenty of choice with many gourmet options. You can cook your own steak (have yet to try this) or pay extra to have it cooked for you.

Great place for a quick meal after Friday night shopping in the city. Friends introduced us to this place and it's become a staple. Careful of the piping hot bowls some of the dishes are served in. Very casual atmosphere, suitable for a quick feed. Great tasty food.

I really look forward to heading to Cleveland point and ordering piping hot fish and chips from their takeaway area. Always fresh and quick. Staff are friendly. Plenty of lovely areas overlooking the water to relax and enjoy some good old fish and chips wrapped in paper.

This review is for Di Bella, Bowen Hills QLD

Di Bella cafe, roasting and wholesale is a fantastic place to buy some fresh beans and relax with a free coffee. It's a mix of factory, cafe and retail space with a great atmosphere, very knowledgeable and passionate staff and of course, delicious coffee. They also sell coffee machines, grinders and accessories and do espresso training courses.
