whilst this place seems like your typical noodle box, the lovely staff and high quality ingredients are above average. The menu is huge and the price is very reasonable. You can eat in on one of the two tables but the place is really designed for take away
Approximate cost: $12
We have had take away from here many times. Whilst they are your typical pizza shop and thier food is quite good, they let themselves down on consistency.

The Royal used to have the kitchen leased by an Italian family of chefs. the menu ranged from amazing home-made pizza, pastas and traditional pub fare. Now days they have gone upscale and lost my trade. A menu of 6 mains such as duck a la orange isnt my idea of "pub food"
Approximate cost: $30
What can I say. This fish and chip shop seems to have new management every year or so. Whilst the food is great, all products are brought in and nothing is made from scratch
Approximate cost: $10
The Ivanhoe used to be a place where you would always get a 100% class A meal. Unfortunately the menu has shrunk and the past two times my family has dined there will be our last. Too expensive for a very ordinary meal.
Approximate cost: $25
Baci is "get what you pay for". The pizzas are good value and my fav is the chicken mushroom which is a home-made chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Would earn another star if mains came with vegies rather than chips
Approximate cost: $14
They have the best Shanghai Dumplings ive ever had. Their lack of English can be trying when ordering over the phone but the dumplings never dissapoint
