Avoid at all costs, I have had months of trouble with their broadband wireless internet. I had appalling issues and problems with their mobile phone service so I sent the ombudsmen onto them to end my contract.

A few months later I was informed '3' merged with Vodafone and I was convinced to give their internet a go (stupid thing to do)
Not only have I had terribly slow speeds but the connection drops out all the time. I have used the internet in a few suburbs and it's the same.

Simple Google search feedback and see how many angry ex customers.

This review is for Car Spa Autowash Cafe, Parklea NSW

I come here once in a while when car really needs a good clean. I like the fact that most of the cleaning is done by people and by machines that are scratch free. Also, you get a free coffee for having car washed. Customers are given a handheld thing that buzzes when car has been cleaned.

At the cafe there is plenty of seating, a good range of food and drink choices. Free WiFi, magazines and newspapers.
Price is okay, many options to choose from.

I chose to have a clean of both the interior and exterior. No matter how much crumbs and dog hair there is hidden - they get it all off.

Huge warehouse sized place with plenty of cllothes, shoes, toys and all sorts of things.
Unfortunatley I never seem to find very many clothes that I am happy to wear.
Nice people, plenty of parking and good value for those of us who need cheaper clothes.

This review is for Royal North Shore Public Hospital, St Leonards NSW

A family member ended up in the Intensive Care Unit and was seriously ill, still is but improving slowly.

I found the hospital had a really delicious food court near the main entrance for visitors, workers and people who might want to find some food for themselves during their stay in hospital. Not a typical food court with brand names. More all in one place but sections for different cuisines.

Easy to navigate what lifts to use and what floor to go to.

The intensive care unit very clean (has to be) and the staff are kind.

Doctors treating the family member are wonderful! They are working hard to keep my family member stable and to get better. They listened to what happened before the person came. Asked questions and delicately explained what they know and what concerns them. Allowed us to ask questions and answer them to the best of their knowledge.

The waiting room has an area where people can select a knitted item of their choice out of a dozen choices to eventually become a square patch. When a lot of patches are made, they are turned into a quilt and sent to Africa to those who have little warmth in the colder weather.

Met up with a friend here, she suggested the place and she told me it is a really great place with a good feed.
This certainly is a gourmet burger restaurant! A few different beef, lamb, pork, chicken, possibly some vegetarian burgers also.
I ordered a lamb burger with chips and a drink. A good price for how much you have to eat. Also a small amount of what you pay goes toward a charity or cause.

It was an explosion of flavours all at once, I never knew it was possible. Without a drink I probably would be overwhelmed having it on it's own.

Before you leave you place in a glass container a bottle lid in the charity or cause you like the most. It is given to you when you have ordered and paid up front. At the end of the week or month the money raised is given to the cause.

Met up with some friends, I had the option of indoor or outdoor seating. It was cold but the outdoor area was covered a bit and had heating.
We ordered food and drinks. My drink was really nice, I enjoyed some chips that my friends ordered.
Food was most expensive than expected but drinks were cheap. We were going just for coffee but decided to eat too. I had heard rave reviews before trying this place out.
It was not very busy at the time of day when we were there.

This review is for Atour Travel Service, Castle Hill NSW

I was not very involved with the big details but I was a part of a group of 28 people who wanted to go to The Middle East.
We already had planned the dates and had decided who would be our tour guide and bus driver as the people who organised the idea to go there went two years earlier and had the same guide and bus driver.
Anyway, there was a lot of changes, emails, calls between Atour Travel Service, the services provided by the individuals in The Middle East and most people in our group of 28.
She was very patient and helpful. A lovely person when I met her to pay for her organising the trip. The people there are nice too.

This review is for Virgin Active Health Club, Baulkham Hills NSW

I joined Virgin Active Gym at Norwest and the staff are cheerful and polite. Keen about fitness and when I joined I got a free backpack, bottle and some other small things which is useful. The reading material was entertaining to read. The whole place has funny slogans in different areas.

The change rooms are modern with free lockers, hair dryers, toilets, showers and changing areas.

I love how modern the exercise machines are though I don't use them but I might eventually after taking a look. You have a screen in front of the treadmills, bikes and some other machines where you can go online or choose a radio station, watch heaps of television channels or choose a scenery to look at as though you are riding through a park or some other scene.

There are many group classes through the day to choose from. Cardiovascular, endurance, aerobic, dance, boxing, mind and body and a few classes which are really unique.

If you come early enough you can pick up a free morning paper, I think it is The Sydney Morning Herald or something like that.

There is free wifi and about 4-5 computers for members.
Online class booking system where you will receive an email and you can send directly to your calendar if you have a smart-phone.

Only slight disappointment was I had heard of sleeping modules / chairs in the gyms but not at Baulkham Hills one.

This review is for Happy House Sitters, Melbourne VIC

verified email - 21 Sep 2013

I have been using Happy House Sitters regulary for over a year. I had no idea I could review them till today. I use their website to find new home owners a lot.
Most of my year is booked for the area I choose to go to. I can sit from 1 day to a couple of years depending on who needs what and for how long.
Home owners are lovely, I have become friends with each new family I meet.
On website as a sitter, I fill out my profile with details including filling out a section allowing me to tick what pets I am happy to look after, if I have a working with police check, references (which are posted onto my profile somewhere for people to read) and more.
I sometimes get around to detailing booked sits on the website in the profile section.
Good thing is, a lot of my sits that I found on this website has given me more opportunities purely by word of mouth to their neighbours, friends and family.
It is free for home owner to post an ad but for sitter there is a good fee. Not a problem though because the money spent in registering is covered 100 times over compared with renting or paying a mortgage.
Lastly, Happy House Sitters have the most ads from home owners and from house sitters.

This review is for Event Cinemas, Castle Hill NSW

I went to Event Cinemas at Castle Hill to catch up with a friend who has 2 little girls.
We bought the tickets, my friend bought some things from the food area there and as we approached the place where tickets are checked a man came up and offered to store the pram. She was about to ask but he initiated.
All the staff are very polite and cheerful, also it was great that we went there when most people are working so it was nice and quiet. We had the cinema to ourselves.
