We visited this 24hr emergency centre with our young pup. The centre was recommended by a friend in the industry and I would highly recommend to anyone else with an emergency situation. They were professional, caring and honest. We were seen soon after arriving, and the vet we dealt with took the time to listen to the full story. Her examination was very thorough and she talked us through all the possibilities and treatment options. We left our pup in their care for further tests and were kept informed of the progress throughout. We were allowed spend time with our pup whilst she was receiving treatment. The vets worked around us so we could comfort our pup. We witnessed the vets and nurses amazing compassion for all the animals they were caring for. They really do an amazing job. The outcome for us after a couple of days wasn't good. All the staff were brilliant in helping us through the difficult decisions and so understanding. We are very thankful for their efforts.

Happily recommend these guys. Have been visiting for many years and I'm always happy with the service and quality for colour and cuts.

Nice Japanese restaurant. Have been a number of times and never disappointed with our choice of meal. Staff are friendly, but service is not always great. On our last two visits there were complications with our orders. In particular, they served the main course for our dining companions when we were served entrees. On one occassion the mistake was acknowledged with free drinks, but on the other, the waiter seemed to ignore our table after we raised the problem.
Has been gaining in popularity recently so definitely need to book a table on Friday & Saturday nights.

Great selection of meats and gourmet products. Have a lot of products you don't find in the usual supermarket. Perfect if you don't have time to get to the market. Service is usually pretty good as well.

We've visited the vets here a lot over the last year and have always been impressed with the service, treatment, etc. Each of the vets provides a thorough explanation during the consult, details the steps for treatment clearly, and usually follow up over the phone if need be. We had an unfortunate experience with our last pup (not at this vet), and they have been very patient when we ask lots of questions. We couldn't be happier that our pup is in safe hands.

We attended puppy socialization classes run by Furry Critters at Murphy's Paw in Port Melbourne. Unfortunately, we didn't find the classes to be a very positive experience, and we were all relieved (dog included I think) when we had finished the course after 5, 1 hr sessions. The class consisted of 5 pups and their owners (usually 2 per pup) squashed into the very, very small shopfront. We have a large dog breed and found it too difficult to separate our very excitable pup from the other dogs. This class is certainly more suited to the smaller dog breeds. There wasn't very much time spent on socialization for the pups either which was a little dissappointing, since this was one of our objectives of attending in the first place. The class covered the basics on training (sit, drop), and were useful to some extent (especially, if you are a first time owner). However, there wasn't much chance to get advice on specific problems. This was very frustrating, as I was guenuinely interested to find useful solutions to some of our training issues. There was also way too much time spent on pushing certain products (specific brand dog food). In general, I don't think the price was worth it (~$175).
We've since found the general dog obedience classes run at the local park to be much more useful, the advice to be more helpful and the price to be much, much more reasonable.

Approximate cost: $175

They are open on Sunday which is very, very useful. Staff are friendly. Though the waiting room can be a little too small if you have a large dog.
Generally we had good experiences here, and I had previously praised their services in this review. Our dog certainly loved visiting the clinic. After a recent experience though, I might change the recommendation to - good but not outstanding.

Cute little cafe with great food and good coffee. Love the sandwiches. Cakes are awesome - so many to choose from. In the St Ali-style but without the crowds.

I visited the clinic (physio Michael Ralston) after injuring my neck, and Michael did a great job getting mobility back into my neck very quickly. The appointment times (30 mins) were probably a bit shorter than those I've had with other physio's, but the injury still improved at the same rate, and long-term, I think this approach been great at helping to keep the injury under control much better than previously.

It's not always easy to get an appointment at short notice, but the cost of appointments is very reasonable.
