It's a weekly breakfast stop for me... the crepes are wonderful and they have great healthy options too.
Bookplate is a great break from visiting any of the cultural attractions nearby and the stained-glass windows give it a really comfy feel.
It's a little bit off the beaten track, but Vanilla Bean is a lovely light-filled cafe with wonderful food and great coffee options.
The coffee is so dependent on who the barista is, and is generally a bit cooler than I like. Given that it's roughly the same price as the three other cafes nearby, it can't really compete with those. If you're running really late for a class in Manning Clark, Degree is better than nothing. Most of the time.
OK sandwiches make it a good lunch stop.
The movie & pancake deal is great- such good value! I always forget how filling pancakes are, so I order way too much, but it's delicious nonetheless. Great when you're in the mood for breakfast for dinner as well.
Lovely place to have a casual catch up with some friends- the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is always a pretty sure bet. The hot turkish apple tea is a great choice.
Great spot to people watch with the seats by big windows... and a great place to do some hipster-spotting inside the cafe! This is a bit luxurious for most students probably, but a nice treat every once in a while. The potato slices are to die for, and I can never make it all the way through one of their caramel slices.
A little bit expensive, but beautiful chocolates and decadent desserts! I love the range of hot chocolates on offer!
AMAZING cakes. I got two cakes for my 21st birthday from Dobinsons and they went down a treat- plus they make mini versions of the cakes that are just as tasty!
Great steak every time, plus the staff are really wonderful- so friendly and really well trained in customer service. Our waitress definitely made my night!
Approximate cost: $30
