This review is for Cafe Dolci, Caboolture QLD

Cafe Dolci is a good welcome addition to Cabooltures dining options, which are somewhat limited when it comes to cafe style dining. It is a modern looking cafe with a casual vibe. It can get very busy at lunch when it comes to placing an order, but they generally seem to get orders out to customers quickly. For some reason they had the wrong name down for some chips I was waiting on, so I didn't get them for some time, but when I got them they were good. I was with two other diners and one enjoyed her meal, but the other thought her sandwhich was pretty average. I enjoyed mine and found the cheesecake yummy. The serving sizes were good and the prices reasonable. If you are looking to sit somewhere a bit more pleasant than the main drag of King St whilst in Caboolture, check them out.

we went here for lunch one Sunday and found that they offer great value deals on both food and alcohol. I've walked past a few times and they seem to run offers regularly making them one of the more affordable newcastle waterfront dining oprtions. Between my husband and I we had a starter, pizza and pasta. All were good quality, tasty and generous serving sizes, making the value even better. The service was also efficient and friendly.

I had high hopes for this place having visited other newer big estate gold clubs to eat at, however I was dissapointed. The inside dining venue seems a bit dingy, although the outside it not bad. The food was pretty average, the starter we had was okay, but the pizza I had for my main was dry and tasteless.

This is a nice place to consider dining at if you are in Newcastle ever. They are like a cafe that steps things up to a restaurant menu at night. The hand cut chips are really yummy-a step up from basic fries. I also like the char grilled beef filet as a main, I've always found it to be a nice quality piece of meat. It is also priced reasonably in comparison to other newcastle restaurants. Presentation is good also.

This review is for The Rustic Olive, Redcliffe QLD

The rustic olive has a nice casual ambience and great food. I love the chicken fettucine Amore, but there pizza and other pasta dishes are nice also. I find the entree size filling and good value. One of the only things that lets them down is service at times. I've found that when it's busy eg. Friday nights you can wait a long time for anyone to take your order and then get it. Waitresses can also forget to take drink orders. If you go when it's quite it's all good though.

We decided to take a day trip to Hervey Bay and thought Fish & chips by the beach would be nice. We tried Maddigan's and found it to be a good fish & chip shop. We found the prices reasonable, the food tasty enough and the service and wait time reasonable. We would eat here again if in the area.

This review is for Mucho's Mexican Restaurant, The Junction NSW

verified email - 25 May 2012

We dined here whilst on a trip to Newcastle and as far as Mexican goes found it pretty average. There was nothing wrong with the food and service, but we also didn't find it anything special. Usually when we travel we get Mexican somwehere and many othrs places I've found a favourite dish that makes me want to revisit, here I just thought the food tasted okay. One thing I didn't like was that they sat us near to the front door which wasn't closed and it was very cold.

We dined here one night on a trip to Newcastle and we found it a nice place to eat. We sat in the restaurant area which is more up market for a pub-somewhere between pub fare and fine dining. The prices were quite good for what you got. The service was very friendly, we arrived before they began serving meals, but they were very nice about this, got us seated and served us drinks. The only small downside was they didn't have their full menu available, but they did have reasonable alternatives to meet our needs.

We dined here on a trip to newcastle and found it quite appealing. The view is quite nice, it wasn't crowded and we enjoyed the taste of the pizza and pasta here too. The food came out quickly and the service was quite friendy too. We would dine here again when visiting.
