The tofu burrito rules. It's very filling and I've never finished one! The place can get pretty busy and there's often people eating takeaway in the alley next door. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but the food is great, and very affordable too
One of the cheapest and best lunches in town. Concession is only $5.50 and you get a huge bowl of curry and rice, drink and dessert. It's very open and friendly, my only gripe is that it's only open for a few hours each day
Paying what you feel the meal was worth is an innovative concept, particularly combined with the fact that the majority of the staff are volunteers or have newly moved to Australia. There is a wide range of vegetarian food with some vegan options available. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and on a nice day you can expect the place to be packed! Good location too, in the Abbotsford Convent. Expect to see at least a few dogs milling around.
I have used the pools several times here. The wave pool is great fun and my younger brother loves it! The staff are all friendly and the outdoors area is nice on a sunny day.
